I found Dick Orr by accident when I was desperately looking for stone material that matches the existing stone on my old house. I described my front porch renovation project to him and he became interested in doing the stonework. He also stocked the matching type of stone that I was looking for. He showed me his extensive portfolio and described his extensive history of stone masonry jobs ranging from small residential to large commercial. I hired him for the stonework on my project and he was able to start and complete the job quickly within days. A quality about this mason which is hard to find with any type of skilled help is his exceptional desire to make the customer happy and give them not only exactly what they want but also what looks right with their house. He gives the confidence that he is more than competent with his work. He is honest and offers valuable opinions about what looks good with your house. His finished work with the stone piers and retaining wall was very nice and it complimented my house's existing architecture and style. It added much visual appeal to my old house. He even transplanted all the shrubs after the retaining wall was done. The cleanup afterward was excellent. He does operate his business rather informally though. He gave me no contract to sign and no invoice, although after asking him for something in writing he was willing to provide it. His business can not be found on the internet and is not advertised well. But I can vouch for his expertise and experience; he just needs to modernize his business a bit. He was also always good and prompt with returning my calls.

THEY NEVER CAME BACK TO FINISH UP THE WORK, WERE UNTRUTHFUL ABOUT SHOWING UP, NEVER DID. I WOULD NOT HIRE THESE GUYS EVER AGAIN.
