Patio Doctor

Chris is a very knowledgeable guy who does what he says on time and on budget. He took a large 20 year old neglected patio and made it new again. He works hard and gets the job done. He did an amazing job.

Initially good, but buyer beware. Chris sold us on his reseal option to an existing 2 level paver patio and walkway. He power washed, replaced the existing sand with his own mix, then resealed with own sealer. It looked great for a year. We paid over $2,000 and one year later the joints are cracking on all levels. The sand is coming out. Weeds are growing in. He won't return our calls, emails let alone come out to look at it. He had his brother call us back once to say they can't do service or repair calls? So i ask would you pay $2,000 for a company that won't stand by their work or service it?

Chris is very knowledgeable about patio renovation, is a straight shooter who does what he says he's gonna do and is very efficient at getting it done on time and budget. He and his crew were prompt to the job site, courteous, and hardworking .. They cleaned up immediately after the job was complete, and followed up by phone with me the next day, to discuss anything I may have concerns about.. He has encouraged me to call him to discuss any further questions about after care of the newly re-surfaced patio. Any similar jobs of this nature in the future, I'm not calling anyone but Patio Dr. !!

Patio Doctor restored and leveled a paver brick walkway that had a few tree root bulges and had sagged in several places. The walkway now looks as good as new, perfectly level & clean. Regret not scheduling the work sooner.

We have a 15 year old paver patio that I thought was beyond saving. Multiple companies came out and said it couldn't be saved, and gave outrageous prices for building a new one from scratch. So glad I called Patio Doctor. Chris gave us a very clear idea on what could be done and what couldn't within a reasonable price. Quality of the work is outstanding - patio looks like new. We so lucky to have found Patio Doctor, and we're looking forward to enjoying the patio for years to come.

The Patio Doctor did an excellent job! Chris did an amazing job of re-adhering the paver stones that had come loose on our steps, power washing the entire patio and sealing it. Our 15 year old patio looks like new again. Both Chris and Janine were extremely professional and a delight to work with. I would highly recommend their services.

Great! The appearance of the front yard is much improved with the elimination of weeds and grass growing up between what had been uneven and loose pavers. Chris (the owner) is involved with every job personally, so there's never any need to "call the office" for questions or changes as the work progresses. The is the second project they've completed for us and we will use them again for other projects in the future!

We love the job Chris did on our patio. The steps are steady now, and everything looks perfect and was completed to our specifications. Chris was upfront with us on everything, and he walked us through everything he was going to do. He was very professional and completed the work quickly and thoroughly. We are very happy with the work he did, and we would definitely hire him again!

Grout work was sloppy. Chris promised to return and make it right. He never did. Several weeks later, the area that he leveled settled creating a large gap where the patio meets the house. Chris has ignored several attempts to contact him by phone and e-mail.

Chris's work and professionalism were top notch. Our paver areas look brand new-so much so that our neighbors didn't believe it when we told them it was a cleanup followed by a sand and seal of the original pavers! He performs his work at the highest standard. To touch on professionalism, when pulling up the pavers along the front walkway to remove tree roots and give us back a flat walkway, he identified roots in our downspout and called us immediately. A lesser contractor might have removed the roots, put the pavers back, and never let us know. Needing to have to schedule the downspout contractors to come in delayed Chris's work but we kept open communication about it and he came right in when everything was done on their end. He left us with instructions for maintaining the pavers in their refurbished status and was honest and straightforward through the entire process. Highly recommend--it's amazing how good it all looks!

The walkway to the front door was lined with pavers. I had done spot repairs over the years, but it was time for a complete overhaul. Three-day job completed in late October 2018. They replaced the main step leading to the front door, and blended in well with the brickface of the house. They also recommended removing a secondary step further down the walkway, which they replaced with a gentle slope. Fair price and excellent service. Highly recommended.

Chris and his staff did a fabulous job bringing our brick patio back to it's original beauty. We were given an appointment time for the original quote. Chris was punctual and gave us the estimate that day. We were then given an installation date. Due to some scheduling changes they were able to come earlier than expected. The crew was hard working, polite, neat, on-time and really cared about doing a good job. The patio needed to be graded to incorporate a new walk out 3 season room and yet drain through existing wall weep holes. The bricks are very level and the joints were sanded and sealed to prevent movement and weed problems. Everything turned out even better than we expected. We would highly recommend the Patio Doctor.

Chris and his workers were professional, thorough and took the time to explain each step of the process. We have a paver patio which needed to have sand replaced in the joints and a sealer. They did a great job and the patio looks like it did the day we put it in. I would highly recommend Chris and his company, Patio Doctor.

Job went well. Unfortunately we had a cold, wet spring that delayed the start of the work. Patio Doctor tore down the steps leading from my house one by one, and reusing the same pavers rebuilt the steps using mortar. So far the steps are nice and stable. They also cleaned and sealed the entire patio.

GREAT on front walkway! Cleaned, sanded, sealed. All good there. Ran into a few rough spots on back patio after powerwashing caused some of the old pavers to start crumbling. I had extra pavers and asked that several be replaced, but was a little disappointed that this was not suggested to me during or directly after the powerwashing (they were going to sand and seal the patio with the crumbling pavers in there), so I had to pay extra to get this done since the newer pavers had to be powerwashed separately. Was happy that they were able to replace the pavers, and that (for a smaller upcharge) they were willing to powerwash the side & top of our retaining wall, which was covered in mold and moss. What a difference!!! Patio looks great now! Would use again -- but would request extra pavers be powerwashed with others next time, in case some needed to be replaced again.

Chris did an incredible job. I called a few places and Chris was the best to work with. I am very glad we went with him. We couldn't be more pleased!

We had Chris review our job in the very early Spring, but due to the excessive cold and rainy Spring weather, the project was delayed for several weeks. Chris and Janeen kept us posted on timing and the reason for delay. I am so glad that we followed their advice, and so pleased with the regular communication. Chris and his team did an exceptional job of cleaning the patio, which had not been done in 5 years. They were most timely and professional in all aspects of the cleaning job. After the patio sufficiently dried, they came back timely and resealed the patio. Again, they did an exceptional job! The patio looks brand new again. I highly recommend Chris and the team at Patio Doctor for all of your patio needs.

We were very pleased. Chris (the owner) was on the job all the time. We never had to worry about who to speak with if we had any questions. He showed up when he said he would, kept us informed as the job progressed, and checked with us multiple times to make sure that everything was what we expected. Everything was done on time and to our satisfaction.

Again, Chris Gatto takes his work and reputation seriously. He was very professional and great work ethic. He personally made sure everything was done right and to our satisfaction. I will use him again and recommend him to anyone needing patio cleaning, repair and everything else Chris does - He is A-One in my book

The Patio Doctor was awesome, he was very responsive to my questions, he showed up when he said he would, and he did a great job with the job fixing a section of our patio to slope away from the house again. He also rebuild our steps into a lighter setup. He also went above and beyond by cleaning 2 sandstones that we have going into the grass. I would hire the Patio Doctor again for a fix or a new build. He was very professional and got the job done on time.

Chris uncovered some shoddy work done by the original installer. To repair it correctly required extra work. Chris was very conscientious about repairing it the right way at a fair price, even though it added time to his schedule. I felt as though he went out of his way t do the job right.

Chris did a great job. He clearly explained everything about what he was going to do (he was the only contractor who proposed fixing the underlying problem with the paver steps.) He also provided sound advice on what did'nt need to be done (rather than try to sell extra services). The entire job was completed efficiently, professionally, and looks great.

All work was done in an exceptional manner. I am very satisfied with the work.

We are so happy with Chris, the Patio Doctor, for all the work he did to bring our patio back to life!! It needed several repairs done, the walkway completely reset, and everything cleaned, sanded, and sealed. It was a big job and I was so impressed with Patio Doctor every step of the way. He was prompt, stuck to the quote, and even through in a couple extras for us :-) It looks so good and we can't wait to use it!! Would highly recommend!

Chris fixed only what needed to be fixed, and it looks like a brand new patio now. He was punctual, and finished on time and on budget.
