Not happy with work performed. Referred by well know construction supply company to use Ohio Groundskeeping LLC to install/build grill island. Came out and quoted high, however we wanted job done and was told Ohio Groundskeeping was good. Crew sent did not speak any English and had no idea what they were doing. (seemed like 1st time ever installing grill island) Communication and response with owner was horrible. Did not return calls/texts. Made excuses for all the mess and mistakes crew made. Assured me he would take care of it. Doors were not installed before stone was installed so they had to cut out stone to fit, which looks horrible. Again owner had excuse why they did it that way knowing it is wrong and I even heard him tell crew to make sure doors were installed before stone guys came. Stone installers did absolute horrible job. Messy and used too much sand in mortar mix which resulted in cracking of mortar. (Owner said that was normal!) Had to come out and remove excess mortar that was smeared all over the stone. Owner has never came back to see final job crew did. Owner seems to have no interest in small jobs and/or concerns of his clients. In the end he gave me a 5% "Fiasco" discount! Not nearly enough for all we went through and what we are going to go through when winter comes with the cracks in the mortar! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING THEM FOR ANY WORK!

Usually that concern or comments are heard upfront when the quote is presented, not 90 days after the project is closed out. As you recall your builder left you in a bad position by his concrete guy not being able to complete your concrete work in a timely manner and possibly effecting your closing/move in schedule. We re-arranged our previously scheduled jobs (even paying/discounting some customers for re-scheduling) to make your project a priority. We even added additional last minute changes with decorative capping and made sure that pictures were taken to fulfill permitting issues/concerns if they arose. Again we had plenty of face to face, email, and phone conversations and not once was pricing./costing every discussed. Always glad to openly discuss and talk about concerns and issues, but it is hard to do if they are never mentioned."

Once again Ohio Groundskeeping not only impressed us but under-promised and over-delivered! Excellent, quick work at a competitive price and they told us they were about 7-10 days out on jobs (still 2 weeks better than most companies we contacted) but then surprised us - pleasantly - one morning only about 5 days after our confirmation that they would do the work indicating they were coming that day! Polite, friendly workers, prompt responses to communications - all around good, professional work!

I'm embarrassed at how long it has taken me to write this review. The team from Ohio Groundskeeping was prompt and professional and helped us QUICKLY when no one else seemed to be able to. Their work was excellent and I had great confidence in the two team members that came out to evaluate our property to provide an estimate. The work was good and exactly what we needed - general spring yard clean up and mulch - just in time to keep our neighbors from starting to talk!

Everything went exceptionally well. They did a very good job on the initial clean up and provided the service on short notice. The patio project was much more in depth than we had thought it would be due to an extreme slope in the yard but they had good suggestions and did a good job of telling us the pros and cons of each possible method of working with the slope. I would definitely recommend them for any landscaping, mulch or patio work.
