Warning to anyone looking for home improvements....Evergaurd exteriors....This company was liberty restorations where I had my roof replaced from. They will not honor the warranty on my fairly new roof. My roof has had 3 leaks within a year of installation. It's been well over a year and sill nothing on the interior repairs. Exterior were temporary fixes... I have quotes for everything to be fixed and its around 2k. I hear they will bribe new clients with alcohol just to get people. Don't let these guys full you. My old roof was over 20 years old and we had 0 leaks. The owner was not nice on the phone and said I owed them money. I paid in full and have the receipts to show that. I was disrespected and he threatened to hang up on me when I showed my emotions. I hope no one else is scammed by this company.

I did a review in June '23. This is a follow-up review. as of 1/16/24 Liberty Restoration has paid us the amount they owed.

This company jerked me around for 1.5 years for windows and siding. they did my roof and overcharged me $3,000.00. We wrote a new contract that would apply my monies to the siding and windows. I have heard nothing from them, the rep lied to us, they will not return my monies. Filing a claim against their license with the City of Columbus.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They never once consulted with me after the job started. They increased the claim with State Farm WITHOUT consulting with me, The flashing was poorly installed, aprons left with open gaps, and there are a few pieces of aluminum siding that was left hanging off the back of my house. Extremely aggressive money collection policy as well.

Please be aware of this company that came to us last year (2021) after we had that huge hail storm here in the Pinery. They pitched us on their expertise and total management of the job that included a new roof, northfacing siding replacement, two new decks and exterior painting. We agreed and work started (October 2021). Quick snapshot (I can send you a lengthy overview if needed as it will be submitted to the Better Business Bureau) -12 Months to complete the job (they said it would take 3 to 4 - Maybe more with weather) -No on-site management of the job (this was the selling point of choosing Liberty Restoration) -3 Official Meetings with Project Management Team on our concerns of shotty work and timeframe to complete (Team promised to be more involved) -Complaints from the Sub-Contractors that Liberty Restoration wasn’t paying them! Pushing out completion dates. -Original Project Manager removed for Liberty Restoration was replaced for another non-present one! -And Finally! 12 Months later with a few things that they promised to come back and fix we receive a Legal Notice from Liberty Restoration's legal team threatening a lean against our home. With the legal notice, we were not informed prior and had been waiting for the final payout from our insurance company. This was the last and final payment that was delayed because Liberty Restoration had put in (yet again) another pricing change for the material. After speaking with the CFO he basically said tough luck and I told him I’d file a formal complaint with the BBB and spread the word that he wouldn’t do this again to anyone in the Pinery. He replied with what seemed like a threat of “Well, we have legal ways of dealing with things.” My point here is that because of the lack of communication, management, and ethics we will never do business with them again. I mean, how is there ever a consideration to squeeze the customer to get money from the insurance company??? This job could have been completed in 3-5 months if they would have managed the job as promised.

Insurance replacement of roof that wasn't leaking before. Chased them for 4 months. They came back out 4 times and still not fixed. Trashed yard, roofed over rotten wood, sloped gutters wrong, caused leaks. Very not responsive. Too many un-managed subcontractors.

The estimating process was amazing. They can show you exactly what it will look like without having to crawl around on your roof. A couple of pictures, a satellite pic and boom... estimate. In the end, they did everything they said they would, for the price they promised and on-time. I can't ask for more than that. The roof and gutters look better now than they looked when I built the house. I would HIGHLY recommend them.

I was first introduced to Liberty Restoration by a neighbor who had a great experience. Liberty came out and were very detailed, patient, and did a great job explaining the details of the project. The crew showed up on time and met all expectations. They left the yard cleaner than how they found it. I met with several other contractor and sleep well at night knowing I made the right choice with Liberty Restoration. I would highly recommend!

We had a flyer left on our door after a big storm. We called for the free roof inspection and Liberty Restoration came out same day to inspect! They walked us through the whole insurance process and were very efficient in explaining everything. We were told 45 business days to complete our project, and it took a tad longer than that because of weather delays, which is understandable. We were kept in the loop on everything down to the day of build. We love the look of the new roof and would hire them again! Highly recommend.

Prompt service and a job well done. Very diligent work and great customer service. I would definitely call them again if we have storm damage! Everyone was very professional.

Excellent. They fixed an issue that a different company did wrong. They were excellent with pricing and their knowledge.

This company is the worst contractor I've ever dealt with. I hired them to side my entire house and paid 50% cash down. They were very prompt and responsive until they got the down payment. After that the entire job went downhill rapidly. They rarely ever showed up when they were supposed to was very little explanation as to why. The installation crew damaged or destroyed numerous landscape plants. They also destroyed a corbel on the house that I had specifically stated I wanted preserved. Their installation crew treated my yard like a garbage dump with no cleanup at the end of each workday. that's not to imply that their work days consisted of much. They spend a couple of hours each day sleeping in the shade beside the house instead of working. The project manager Jamie was dismissive of my complaints. He even went so far to say that had they been doing a roof I never would have noticed the problem with the work. The window and door wrapping and the soffits we're so poorly done I had to threaten to withhold the remainder of the payment in order to get the problem corrected. All told it took them almost five months to install siding on an average sized two-story home. at least two months of that time was fighting with them to correct all the shotty inadequate workmanship. Liberty Restoration was a truly horrible company to work with. Judging from reviews they might be a little better about Roofing jobs than siding but I certainly wouldn't count on it. I would not recommend this company for anything.

We purchased a home in Feb 2020 of which Liberty Restoration had put a new roof for the previous owner on or around July 2019 with a transferable warranty. The previous owner had various issues with her previous roof, resulting in water damage and mold. She hired this company to repair the roof. An investor bought the property on or around Sept of 2019 and did not transfer the warranty as it was not their primary residence. We called Liberty Restoration within the first couple days of moving in to transfer the warranty and there was no issue or pushback from them. Since moving in, we have dealt with 2 separate roof leaks. In the first instance, the roof was leaking at the kickout flashing. The company initially came out and their "fix" was to apply a large amount of caulk to the area. When that didn't work, they became very agitated and rude toward my wife, telling her they didn't care if we hired another company to fix and that the warranty was no longer valid. We asked for that in writing and never received anything. We hired another roofing contractor to fix at a cost of $2k. A couple of weeks later, another leak developed in a new area. Again, we contacted Liberty Restoration and again they told us that the leak was due to a design defect and not covered under any warranty and that it would take 3 weeks to fix (it was actively leaking, pouring into the attic). Not wanting to deal with them anymore and needing a quicker fix, I again contacted the trustworthy company and they came out and pointed out that the roof was installed inappropriately. The slope was too shallow for shingles and needed a rubberized system. They immediately isolated the problem and put on a temporary solution to stop the leak until they could come out, which was only a week later as they prioritized us. In addition informing us Liberty Restoration did not install this section properly, they also pointed out that Liberty Restoration did not use drip edge on any rakes, which is required by code. Lastly, we found out that this particular area was key area that the previous owner was having issues with on the old roof. Liberty restoration knew of the issue with the previous roof and yet they still didn't install the roof right. Another $2k out of pocket. The trustworthy roofing contractor reached out to GAF on our behalf to see if this fix could be covered under their warranty only to find out the roof was NEVER submitted for warranty by Liberty Restoration even under the original owner! I cannot get Liberty Restoration to return any of my calls, emails or texts. Because of the pressing need to get the leaks fixed, I have spent $4K out of pocket to fix two leaks from their incompetence in installation.

I had a terrible time communicating with the Project Manager. I would follow up once every 2-3 weeks for an update on when someone would be coming out to fix my roof. All I needed was a possible date. They were AWFUL at following up. Just because of this, I would not recommend or work with this company again. Then it took them over 9 months to send us the final invoice bill for the job. Very frustrating.

The job went smoothly We did not have the gutters replaced at the time of the roof replacement and now wishing we had.

For the first time in 32 years of home ownership we were facing the need for a new roof. Liberty Restoration made the process painless. They offered free roof inspection. They climbed our very steep roof & took pictures documenting wind damage, met with the insurance inspector at our home & went over everything with him & we got approval for a new roof. From there a date for the project was set, good communication throughout the whole process, they showed up when they said they would, protected our landscaping, did the roof job according to the specifications they outlined to us, cleaned up & removed stray nails with magnets. The roof job was done in a day & a half. Any questions we have had since the job was done they have addressed promptly. We have told several friends & family about them & they are contacting Liberty Restoration to have a free roof inspection.

We had the fortune of having our roof replaced by Liberty Restoration this summer.  The entire process was above our already high expectation.   Liberty's communication was excellent throughout the process of working with my insurance company, handling the logistics of the crew and materials for the removal of the existing roof and installation of the new one.  Follow-up and attentiveness to our needs was second to none.
I would absolutely recommend Liberty Restoration to my family and friends for their home or business.  We are extremely happy with the level of professionalism and especially liked having a local company who understands our needs and wants.

We had a good experience with Liberty Restoration. They explained the whole insurance process in detail. Helped work directly with our insurance agent for our claim. Dave and Morgan we're polite and easy to contact even when I changed my mind on color at nine o'clock at night. Enjoyed working with them.
