I've been using Chris for years. I've had no project too small or large for him to complete perfectly. HIghly recommended.

Absolutely phenomenal. All of our projects: deck, retaining walls, grill, shed, and driveway have been superb. Very creative.

Chris came and rescued a patio extension project we had done by another "contractor" (an unqualified person off of Home Advisor). Chris took the total mess that the other person did and turned it into a great looking patio that exceeded our expectations! He stopped back this summer to see how it looks. Even after a winter, there does not appear to any settling or any blocks loosening up. My wife and I would recommend Chris for any project. He is honest, skilled and schedules his projects so he completes them as committed to.

We have done three major projects and a myriad of small projects at four different houses over the past 10 years with Henthorne Landscape. Chris is our favorite "contractor" to work with - he is meticulous in his work, trustworthy and can always find solutions to problems that we can't quite articulate. He does what he says on the timeline he gives you and at the budget you are comfortable with. That sounds simple but having done a lot of home improvement over the years I can say it's definitely not standard. From design to plant selection to infrastructure, I would confidently recommend him for any outdoor projects.

He was very courteous and professional during the whole experience.  Was a very hard worker and concerned about safety for himself and his co-worker. Provided a lot of protection to prevent distruction of the yard that was not being affected.

His professionalism, craftsmanship and quality of work was unusally refreshing. His initial specs and estimate of costs were comparable to others. The estimates were adhered to and he told me that all work is guaranteed.

If more work is needed, I will definitly contact Henthorne Landscaping again.

My next door neighbor replaced an existing patio and gave me the old 2'x2' concrete pavers. I used them to build an 18" walk between garage and side fence. I dug the bed, filled it with crushed limestone and compacted. I called Lang Stone for a referral for someone to come and cut the pavers (and notch four to fit around the fence posts). Lang gave me Chris Henthorne's name. Even though in his busiest season, he stopped by midday with power equipment to cut and notch my pavers. And, he did so ? meticulously ? and then carried them and dropped them into place. He also gave me good suggestions about the best materials to use to fill between them. We had discussed $50.00 as a ball park figure. It was right on the money even though he had to do more than we originally discussed (turned out the pavers had embedded rebar that added to the difficulty and amount of time needed to do the work). He was great. I won't hesitate to recommend Chris to my friends.

Chris has worked on projects to us to ten years. It always goes well. Price is always good, work is always professional and looks great. We get so many compliments on our patio. In saying "patio" we really mean a large area that combines stonework and landscaping, a beautiful area for entertaining or relaxing, not just a small pad.

Mr. Henthorne gave a fair estimate and was very friendly. Mr. Henthorne started the job and half way through I changed the plan. Mr. Henthorne was very forgiving when the plan changed and was even able to get the job done on time. With the plan change and added work Mr. Henthorne still completed the job at the same price and wanted the wall to look good. I would refer anyone to Henthorne Landscape because he is very professional, knows his business and rolls with the punches. Mr. Henthorne was fairly priced and it is apparent that he loves what he does.

Chris had the entire project planned out so he was able to complete it very quickly. Our back yard is very open so that may have helped with him getting the proper equipment in to dig. We made a few changes so I don't remember the exact cost, but he was extremely reasonable compared to our other quotes.

The work exceeded our expectations. Since we had newly purchased the house, the yard and flower gardens had been neglected and needed a quick fix. This included moving some plants, weeding, and removing debris. Chris worked hard and provided useful suggestions.

He is a very hard and very fast worker, but still pays attention to the important details. Most of the work was done during the day while our family was away at work or school. Our neighbors kept telling us that they have never seen a person work so hard. We have been getting many compliments on the end result. We love our new patio and walkway, plus it is reassuring to know that the gutters and downspouts are draining to the street. He could be a little faster responding to emails, but I know that he is pretty much a one man operation. I liked the fact that every detail was directly communicated to the business owner, and that he was directly responsible for implementing the plan, which made it easier to make small last minute adjustments and fine tune the details.

Chris was VERY quick to respond to our request for an estimate. His prices were well below others we had quote for the same size patio (and MUCH less than a deck of the same size). Once the weather allowed he and his team to get started, the work was done within the week. He did a fabulous job on the patio. Instead of a square flower bed around the patio I figured he would do, he did one with beautiful contemporary curves that we love! He also took great effort to clean up the yard, house, street, etc. at the end of each working day. He also re-seeded the bit of the neighbors yard that was scorched by the tires of his truck that had to bring the equipment to the back yard. I highly, HIGHLY recommend him.

VERY HAPPY WITH THE FINISHED PROJECT. WE LIKED NOT HAVING INEXPERIENCED HELPERS ON THE JOB. THIS WAS A DIFFICULT SLOPING AREA TO FINISH WITH PAVERS, BUT CHRIS HENTHORNE HAD EXCELLENT IDEAS THAT GAVE US EXACTLY WHAT WE HAD HOPED FOR.

CHRIS DOES EXCELLENT WORK AND HAS A GREAT EYE FOR STONE WORK. VERY DEPENDABLE AND DOES WHAT HE SAYS HE WILL DO AND MORE. THIS GUY WORKS LIKE A HORSE AND IS ONE OF THE BEST CONTRACTORS I HAVE EVER USED (AND I HAVE USED TOO MANY). CANT SAY ENOUGH, HE RUNS A SMALL BIZ SO HE IS ON THE JOB FROM START TO FINISH.
