He and his team did a great job with the installation and are easy to work with. He is very responsive, knowledgeable, and doesn’t try to upsell. Our irrigation needs changed last year and while he was out to do the spring turn on we scheduled to have his team back to add a mist head where one wasn’t needed before.

It went perfectly. Even though our established yard had strongly rooted trees and bushes, Mr. Donovan and his crew were diligent and worked very hard to get this underground system installed. Many heads were accurately located and placed so that every zone of our front, back and side yards were covered completely. Obviously much thought had been given to properly place these irrigation heads. Mr. Donovan, because of his experience and expertise, knew exactly how to get the job done as did his experienced hard working crew. The result was a beautiful underground system. All the crew members were very professional and Mr. Donovan very honest. Warranties his work. Recommend very highly. Love this beautiful system. Mr. Donovan and his crew even came out for a 2 week checkup to tweak and fine tune everything to our satisfaction. Mr. Donovan is also eager to maintain a long term relationship with us for a regular maintenance schedule to keep this system functional forever. I very much appreciate his conscientious and enthusiastic attitude regarding his work and product. I trust him very much.

Pat Donovan has been maintaining my sprinkler system for nearly 5 years. He is the consummate professional and a great guy, too. I contacted Pat about installing an irrigation system at my new build.  He came out and provided a very fair estimate after walking through our irrigation needs.  From the start I liked that he was on time, professional, and low pressure.  Our builder could not give us an estimate of when our sod grade would be done, so there were several weeks of wait and see.  Pat was very flexible and understanding of the situation. 
Once the final grade was done, Pat and his team installed the entire system in two days.  They were prompt, friendly, and performed quality work.  Pat was responsive and communicated very well throughout the process - I appreciated the unprompted updates.  After dealing with mud and dust from our new build over the last four months, I also really appreciated their attention to avoiding and cleaning up any mess.
If you are thinking about installing or servicing an irrigation system, stop researching and give Pat a call.  Like me, I know you will be very glad you did.

Pat was one of the most professional contractors I've worked with over the years. He and his crew were not only incredibly efficient, but were very congenial and detail-oriented throughout the project. Pat is definitely someone I would refer without hesitation.
They came 8am sharp on Friday and worked throughout the day installing 7 zones for a sprinkler coverage in our front and back yard. Saturday morning was left to simply install the plumbing and computer interface and walk me through how it all works. He indicated that he would come back in a couple weeks to fine tune the sprinkler heads, and offered his email and cell phone if there were any problems.
He was very generous in his bidding given that this is likely the peak of the season when folks are requesting these sorts of installations. I was very happy with the final price, and only wish he provided other home improvement services so I could work with him again on other projects.

Pat handled the estimate timely.  We agreed on a price which was more than fair.  He called me with date of service and kept me in the loop with the whole process.  He really did a very nice job and his guys were very polite and cleaned up.  Pat walked me through how to work everything including making sure I knew I could call if there were problems or if I just forgot how to work the system.   I would highly recomend anyone looking for a system use this company.

We purchased this home with an existing irrigation system installed by Pat Donovan.  During our first year we called him for servicing since it was his system and I'm really glad we did.  Each year since (4 years now) we have him take care of our sprinklers in the spring and fall (pay about 110.00 for both).  Pat is always, always great to work with, friendly, and very professional.  It hit home with me this past winter when I called him about a pipe I had noticed that very briefly poked up above ground by our curb.  I was concerned that one day I would slice it up with my edger and create a nice sinkhole in my yard.  He came out one day in the dead of winter and fixed it in about 10 minutes, we never even knew he was here.  I've asked him several times to invoice me for the additional work but he will not.  This man backs up his work and we'll always call him for our business.

Went very well.  12 sprinkler heads needed to be changed because of broken seals.  The owner and his team showed up early and very friendly.  Explained exactly what they were going to do and got to it.  Completed the work in a timely mannner.  Just very professional, friendly and honest.  Happy I was able to find this company via Angie's list.  They charged a fair price and completed the job properly.

I completed killed my front lawn last year by overfertilizing and underwatering, so I decided to get an irrigation system installed since I obviously DO NOT have a green thumb!    I call several companies to get an estimate and Pat Donovan was by far the most professional of all.  His crew installed a complete 5 zone irrigation system when scheduled and with little lawn disruption.  He then took the time to explain how the system operates and was patient to make sure I understood. 
I had new sod laid a week or so after his installation in some areas and he returned to make sure the system was set up to water the new sod more thoroughly.  He has answered questions on the phone and returned a few times to make sure everything was working correctly.  Pat is one of the most professional serviceman I have worked with on any project. 
If there is any complaint it would be that the control panel they installed in the garage is a little hard to read, even with my glasses, so I have messed it up a few times.  Never fear, Pat came back to help reset things anytime I needed help. 
I would recommend Donovan Lawn Sprinklers to anyone thinking about putting in an irrigation system.
