At firsT larry came to discuss the plans at my house. After that, I had a terrible time getting a hold of him. He either does. To have a cell phone or never wanted to give me the phone number. I had to call cedarbrook nursery and leave messages. My calls were not returned until I called at least 3-4 times. The job took much longer than it should have as he did not have the number of workers that should have been here. It is less than a year later and I have a few dead shrubs. I have called 4 times leaving detailed messages. I still have no response. I would never use or recommend this company!!!

Provider was very prompt, extremely professional and did high quality work quickly and efficiently. Workers were knowledgeable and very personable and friendly. They were very interested in doing a good job and meeting my expectations. Very good experience.

Larry the owner at first came off as a local guy who was honest and caring.He gave a "free" design which was ultimately billed to us after the first servcie (bait and switch)! We didn't argue and paid the bill because he really drew a nice design.
After we decided not to spend his initial 15K in landscaping and only spend a portion of it he was "OK" with it but his attitude was turning sour (a red flag in hind sight). His crew was rude and disgusting. They were talking about "tittie" bars and how much they hated women who had jobs and that women should raise kids. I am a guys guy but this was truly unreal! The truck leaked oil all over my concrete driveway and they planted the tree too shallow. I bought a gator bag and watered everything as instructed. The 800 dollar tree died 10 months later and i called to warranty it. No luck! I had Oakland plant other trees and they did it correctly Upon getting this done Larry the angry owner had the nerve to bang on my door and yell at me asking why I switched landscapers. This seems fictional as I type this but is real and what occurred. NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS GUY unless you want to be assulted with verbal insults from him and his crew.
Do business with a company that has good reviews and is honest. There are plenty on here!

"I would like to take a moment to address the concerns of our customer. In regard to the tree, Member did call one time to look at the newly planted tree. After looking at the tree I informed her that the plant was very dry and required more watering. I was never contacted again by the client. As we are only three minutes from her home, I believe that she would have come by the Garden Center to speak to me or my staff if she was having trouble reaching us. In relation to the charged fee for the design, we did draw a plan at no charge for the customer as specified and presented it to the client. It was explained that you must pay for the plan if you want to keep the plan, otherwise it will be kept on file at Cedarbrook for you to review at any time. This policy allows my staff to create and present our unique ideas to our clients while preventing our ideas from being passed around for others to submit an estimate. A client is able to collect other bids; however, payment for the plan covers our time and creativity. The client decided to keep the plan and in doing so incurred the design fee. This is a common practice for the landscape industry. Lastly, the conduct of our crew was questioned. Come on! This sounds very far fetched to me. The fact that we are just now hearing about all of this, two years after the tree was planted, also makes the complaint a bit suspect."

Overall he did good services. All the supplies were delivered to the home for the work. They cleaned up well after the job was done. There was a spot they needed to be fixed and he sent someone right out to fix it. The patio looks very nice.

Once we got them here, it was great, but the phone calls seem to often go unreturned. We then asked for a quote/price on another job and seemed to be forgotten. We ended up calling someone else because it was not worth the hassle. Now that the bed has been in for a year, a couple of the plants, which we were assured would be fine in that location, had to be moved to another, shadier location (and doing much better). However, we would definitely go back to the retail nursery for plants/annuals/etc.

Extremely happy with the sod we got at Cedarbrook. They helped us load the sod up in our vehicle and were very friendly. They sell a half size piece of sod that is very easy to transport and install. They helped us calculate how many pieces we would need for the job at hand. Great service.

We were able to pay on an installment plan, since the project was so large. It's such a nice job! He's very expensive, but it was absolutely worth it. You do get what you pay for. What he does is art.

PURCHASED A TREE, DIED WITHIN 3 MONTHS, AFTER 6 MONTHS THEY FINALLY REPLACED THAT TREE. MY NEIGHBOR IS A PLANT PATHOLOGIST AND CAME OVER AFTER THEY HAD REPLACED TREE (APRIL) AND POINTED OUT ADVANCED BLIGHT ON THE TRUNK OF THE TREE. HAVE PLACED MULTIPLE CALLS FOR A REPLACEMENT. SPOKE WITH OWNER. OWNER SAID HE WOULD COME OVER AND LOOK AT TREE. OWNER HAS NEVER BEEN OVER TO LOOK AT TREE.
