Hot tub stopped work due to no electric power to tub after one week. My wife called Jim Bach and he said that he would not diagnose over phone but to text him problem and that he would come next morning to fix it. The following afternoon I called him because he never responded. So I asked if he could come as soon as he could and that I understood that he was busy but that we have already paid for his services. He responded “Ok, let me tell this customer that I am pulling off this job so that I can go over”. As he was hanging up he said “*******”. Totally unprofessional and awful customer service.

Excellent! Received an email from Scioto Valley stating they were a recommended electrician. I called Bach Electric on a Friday right after my hot tub was delivered and left a message. They promptly returned my call. They scheduled the electrical wiring for the next morning between 8 and 9 am but would call in the morning when they were 30 minutes away. They called an let me know they would arrive about 9:45 am. They were dressed in uniforms and looked professional. Installation took less than two hours. My install had an extra long run of wire and was under my deck. Everything was done to code. They walked me through exactly what they did and how the external required breaker works. They also walked me through the ENTIRE operation of my hot tub. Job looked very clean and they were extremely professional. I asked how many hot tub installs they have done and they said over a 1000. Don't hesitate to use them if you need electrical work done.

They really couldn't give an estimate because it depended upon how many feet they moved it.  The price was a little high and they weren't organized.

Overall, Bach did a good job.  They were timely and professional.  We only had 2 issues with the project:  1)  Due to Delaware County requirements they had to come back out and change a requirement of the county but it was immediate and no inconvenience to us;  2)  We requestedt the plug be placed on a specific side of the door and unfortunately it was placed on the opposite side.  However, upon pointing this out to Jim he immediately corrected the location and moved the plug to the side we originally requested. Since then, in November, using Angie's List , we contacted Bach to do some kitchen lighting for us.  Jim came out and met with us.  He had some terrific ideas and informed us he would email a quote to us within a couple of days.  After 10 days I called him to ask for the status, he said he would send it to me the next day and he offered to stop by our home and show us samples of the under-cabinet lighting he was recommending.  Sadly, Jim has never called me back, no quote via email has been received and Bach Electric has not stopped by with any samples.  We are now looking for another company to do our kitchen lighting project.  This is truly unfortunate.  Bach seemed like a very knowledgeable and responsive company.

Bach Electric was actually recommended by both All Seasons Spas and Scioto Valley when we were initially shopping for a hot tub.  After our purchase (from All Seasons Spas) Jim came and gave us a free, detailed, itemized estimate.  We did not realize the detail of what needed to be done, and he was very patient with explaining every detail to us.  As he had said would happen, his workers were here when the the Jacuzzi was delivered, and they worked diligently to get it wired and ready for us to use the same day.

Jim of Bach Electric is one of the few "good guys" left. He always returns phone calls, shows up when he says he is going to, and goes the extra mile with any situation. We will use Bach Electric again and recommend this company without hesitation.

It went really well. They came right away and they did it very quickly. They came in and told me what needed to be done. They saved me money by just changing out the outlets in a particular way. They were very courteous and friendly.

Bach was on Scioto Valley's referral list of electricians. Started out good but quickly turned into a major headache of unanswered calls, messy workers and total disregard for scheduled appointments. Initial job was completed quickly, but final approval by local authority was delayed many days because Bach wasn't licensed to do work in our area. Work appeared professional, workers were polite, but always left behind a mess in the house and were careless when walking through home with tools, ladders etc. Installers repeatedly bumped doors with equipment without acknowledgment. Had problems with breaker tripping and eventually changed configuration after much effort. I honestly don t know if the final solution satisfies local code. I m too worn out to care right now.

THEY WERE VERY RESPONSIVE TO ME FROM THE START. WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO SOMETHING THEY DID. JIM EVEN GAVE US FREE ADVICE ON SETTING UP OUR HOT TUB WITH THE PROPER CHEMICALS.

THEY COULD HAVE BEEN MORE PUNCTUAL, BUT THE WORK WAS GOOD.
