"Response to complaint: The home inspection was conducted on 10/15/10.The complaint was not filed until 7/2011. The inspection showed no visible signs of water damage to the hot water heater. The installation was done according to building code by Port Clinton’s oldest and most reputable plumbing contractor, Ohler and Holzhauer. The electrical panel showed no visible signs of any corrosion. Outlets throughout the home were tested and functional. The improperly spliced wires adjacent to the laundry area were noted in the report. This home is a premanufactured home. All systems must be certified by state regulators before it leaves the factory. A home inspection is not a guarantee or a home warranty. It is an impartial observation of all systems that are visible .If at the time of the inspection, deficiencies or faulty conditions exist, they are noted in the report. This was not the case in regard to the member's hot water tank or electrical panel. We cannot be held accountable for things that occur 8-9 mos. after the inspection.
