not so much as a call back

I previously gave an F because it seemed as thought we had been stood up for our appointment. That has happened to us a LOT recently. We were able to finally connect and I would definitely consider this company for my fence now.

As always, Dan, John and the rest of their employees are responsive and empathetic when I needed them to repsir my less than 6 month old vinyl fence damaged by falling trees in the recent storm. You don’t have to worry about service after the sale with Yoder’s. I couldn’t be happier!

After the weather finally cooperated, Yoders Fencing Company installed 100 feet of vinyl privacy fence in my backyard. The guys worked as a team, they knew what they were doing, and no amount of rain, sleet, snow, or wind deterred them from finishing their installation in one day. I probably could have found a contractor that was less expensive, but Yoders provided a beautiful job, and I am very pleased -- with the salesman, Dan; with the product; and with their installer, John.

Let me start by saying that this is the 3rd fence I have had installed in the 12+ years I have lived at this address. The 1st fence lasted 8 years and the 2nd one lasted only four. We live in an extremely wet area and have come to the conclusion that the water on and under the ground greatly accelerates the rotting process in a wood fence. Had we known this from the beginning, we probably would have started with a vinyl fence. The 2nd fence we had installed was by "The Fence Guy", who has excellent reviews on Angie's List. Without going into too much detail, that fence only lasted 4 years due to the lack of depth the fence posts were installed and that it leaned on 2 sides. This was even after we had it repaired at least 3 times! We decided to get a quote for a vinyl fence, knowing it would be much more expensive. Dan came out and looked at the old fence (which was rotting from the ground up) and we discussed what would be needed to keep our Jack Russells from being able to push through the existing fence. Dan gave us a quote and a thorough explanation of their process. On September 17, John and his crew showed up to take down the old fence and install the new one. They were meticulous in their preparation and installation. They dug post holes that were at least 32 inches deep and really paid attention to the details. They listened to our main concern of having the fence close enough to the ground to not allow our dogs to dig under the fence. They completed the project on September 20th and the backyard really looks like they were never even here! if you really don't want to have a new fence installed every few years, then hire these guys. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

The crew showed up as scheduled very early 7:15 am since there was possible rain coming. They added 9 sections this time to complete all but 10 more sections that will be done later. John and his crew are very organized in their plans to remove old wood fence and take it with them and replace with new Kingston Vinyl Fence. Everything went well and the fence looks great (neighbors always saying how nice it looks). As they say you get what you pay for and this certainly applies to Yoder Vinyl Fence.

Weather issues slowed it down but they were very good.

Excellent work and final result. Yoder's custom orders the materials for each job, so it took several weeks to be able to schedule the job. They are very knowledgeable about the materials and the installation process. I believe the installation is worth more than the materials, and you get a crew that will install the product the right way with Yoders.

Dan and the team did a great job assisting with gate/fence placement. The installation was completed in a very timely manner at a fair price. I would highly recommend Yoder's to anyone considering fencing/gates !!

The work was absolutely excellent. They went above and beyond to ensure that there was no space between the bottom of the fence and the lawn, no where around the entire fence. This was due to steep gradation in my lawn. And also they had a life time transferable warranty.

Dan and his crew were wonderful to work with. It had rained a lot prior to the install and the crew was very careful not to tear up the yard. They were able to install the fence just before Thanksgiving. It was wonderful because we had 6 dogs at the house. 5 labs and a Brittney. The fence kept the dogs out of the pond and the geese out of our yard. Our fence is level and straight unlike our next door neighbor’s fence the is tilted every which way. They should have used Yoder. We are extremely happy and love our fence. We highly recommend them.

They did a great job.

We love the new fence--it doesn't block the great view of the woods, but nicely frames our yard. The crew grazed a power line in the installation process (not Yoder's fault, AEP hadn't marked properly). The Yoder's team handled the situation and had everything fixed with integrity. The finished product looks great and will keep our dog safe. Dan was responsive to any questions or messages, and the entire team was punctual. We appreciate the hard work and professionalism of this company and would highly recommend. Thank you!

Fence was installed in early November. Installation was seamless. Yoder did an excellent job. Even though they weren't the lowest bidder, the quality of installation and product were well worth the extra cost. Workers were respectful of minimizing any yard damage during installation and were very professional/polite. Work was completed in two days as they estimated. Cleanup was immaculate. They assured me they would install my fence as if it were there own family's and they delivered on that. I had absolutely zero criticism of the finished product. Extremely happy with the end result.

We couldn't be any happier!  From Dan who came out to consult with us to the installers who did the work, our experience was top notch all the way around.  This is truly the one improvement to our home's exterior that has made the biggest difference in how our home looks.  The railing is absolutely beautiful and perfectly installed.  Even from the inside looking out across the deck and into the woods....the new railing is truly gorgeous.  Hard to describe what a big difference it's made!  Yoder's was an excellent choice and we'd highly recommend them to anyone who wants a quality product, great service and communication, excellent craftsmanship and a very consultative (not "salesly") experience.  Thank you Yoders!  Hope you come out and get some pictures.  It's so beautiful, I'm sure you'll want to show this off to potential new customers!

About 4 weeks later they installed our fence everything went really good with the install took 1.5 days to complete the job. its really nice to work with a family owed business they take a lot of pride in what they do couldn't ask for better people to work with. Dan Hochstetler (owner) was very knowledgeable, professional, polite and punctual. The Yoder's bid was very competitive and the product is of exceptional quality. My project had a particular challenge and one contractor could not come up with a solution. Dan's solution turned out great! Dan even stopped by after the install was complete to inspect the finished product!
John Hochstetler led the on-site team of installers. This team was also very polite and punctual. I am a picky person (I wacuum my garage...!) and John assured me he was also very picky - and he definately was! John worked hard to be certain I was completely satisfied.
It's nice to find a contractor that does what they say they will do, and at a very aggressive price, with a top-notch product.
I have absolutely no reservations referring Yoder's Vinyl Fencing!

These folks were the best!  The fence is beautiful, sturdy and solid.  They also interceded with the city when our neighbor, who had previously agreed to the work, decided to change his mind after the work started.  It was not a pretty scene, and both the brothers who run the company were present and helped during the episode.  I cannot recommend them highly enough.  Everything was professional, well-done and good-looking.
