Third Space Builders recently completed a deck and paver patio installation project at our home. Upon seeing a few other projects they had done in our neighborhood, we decided to reach out via the website for a consultation. The response to the website inquiry was immediate and the first appointment was scheduled around a time that worked for us. Third Space was very attentive to our desires for the project, but at the same time encouraged us to get a little more creative and interesting with the project than we initially had thought of on our own. Between the first visit and the fourth, we arrived at a design and plan that we were very satisfied with and agreed to move forward with the project. The total price was slightly higher than we had initially planned for going into the consultation, but Third Space did make recommendations on what changes to make in order to bring a realistic total closer to our price point at the start of the project. Once the total project cost was agreed upon, there were no overages or added costs to us, which was a relief. The paver patio portion of the project was completed first, and was done very quickly and efficiently by a crew of three to four guys, depending on the day. It was not uncommon for them to work 10+ hour days, and two guys worked all day on one Saturday. The deck portion of the project was next, and did take slightly longer to start and complete, but much of that was because of delays in the receipt of the necessary building permits from the township and a few days of poor weather. The final deck product is very unique and really did come out even better than we expected. The post project follow up was timely, and the touch ups were completed quickly. Overall, Third Space did a great job start to finish with the project, and we would recommend them to others looking for an outdoor space.

These people were terrific. Such hard workers, every one of them was so skilled and they worked so hard! They put in a long day, were neat, polite and courteous. The craftsmanship is just beautiful. We had changes along the way and they were happy to price options for us and adapt to accommodate our wishes so the porch would be exactly as we wanted it. Mitch was in contact with me almost every day and easily accessible by cell phone. Matt stopped by often. They were immediately responsive to any question or trivial detail. They will be the first people I call for our next project! I am happy to highly recommend them!

Third Space Builders did a fantastic job converting my open condo porch into a wonderful screened-in space. The craftsman (Rich) was easy to work with and completely understood that the finished look needed to match the existing architecture of the building. I have received many compliments about my new porch from my neighbors. I am quite pleased with the results in every way.

Our project proceeded very well with only minor snags which were addressed and resolved in a timely manner. Ralph, the carpenter who did most of the installation, rebuilt the soffit so the upper cabinets would hang properly, resulting in a completely square and level soffit. What a difference! He also hand crafted the island to our specifications, including a our custom designed countertop. The Third Space Builders team listened to our needs and ideas for our new kitchen and came through with flying colors. They even helped me catch Jack, my German Shepherd, when we weren't watching and he escaped through the front door during construction! Their attention to our accommodation during construction was most appreciated since we lived in our home during the process. I am confident that Third Space Builders could make any remodeling dream come true!

We decided to go with Third Space because we liked the idea of working with a designer and is the reason we would recommend Third Space to someone else. Our designer took the time to understand what we wanted for our new kitchen. She made the selection process very easy by doing most of the leg work and presenting us with options within our budget. She also was my main point of contact and addressed all issues before they became problems. For the actual remodel-Our kitchen was completed within 8 weeks (which was the the estimated time of completion) and our house was kept reality in good shape, it was a little dusty, but I had expected much worst. We had no big issues that needed to be addressed so we kept close to our original budget. We did go slightly over our budget, but that was partially due to some adds we wanted as we went through the process. The only complaint I had is there were times when I thought there were some communication issues with the actual contractor- but as mentioned early, when I addressed my issues with the designer they were immediately taken care of. We love our new space!

3rd space builder came in December to quote finishing our basement. After coming in about $20k more then what we had budgeted I sent Matt a Dr. John letter about their cost being way over our price. Matt sent me a very nice e-mail asking to meet me at my house to go over some options that might fit our budget. Matt and his co-worker showed up on time and had three options that fit our budget. I appreciated Matt's honestly. After reviewing a few other quotes we picked 3rd space. Before work started on the basement Mitch and Rich met with me in the basement to review the scope of work. One item I was very worried about was the hardwood flooring I had just installed that the workers would be walking over. I made it very clear that this was a worry and Mitch and Rich assured me that they would do everything they could to protect it. Work started in February. The demo was the first stage of the basement remodel. When I got home from work I had to call my wife to ask her if she saw any workers today because it didn't look like anyone had been there. I was surprised to see the basement demo started due to the cleanliness of the upstairs. Work through March and April. Rich and Mitch were my two contacts with the work progress. When there were issues I just gave them a call and the issue was resolved. Work completion. My wife and I were very happy with the work 3rd space put into our basement. We will recommend them in the future.

The project was done on time and on budget. The final product was amazing. Matt delivered everything he promised and then some. I had a couple other minor issues, and when on site Matt was kind enough to fix these (unrelated) issues as well, at no cost. It shows they are willing to go the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied. I just had Matt over to my new condo a couple weeks ago, and Third Space will be remodeling my new condo (sold the last one), including another kitchen, den and bathroom. Not only would I use them again, I AM using them again.

Average, took more of my time and oversight than typical. Presently having them do/re do a front door entry, will post facts when finished.

From the very beginning of the process, I was assisted by a designer who was attentive to my needs and helped find the fixtures that would work in my space. The items were ordered and delivered in a prompt fashion. The person, who did the installation, was prompt , attended to the job, and worked very hard each day he was here. He cleaned up after each day so that there was minimum mess. The job was finished in the time that was estimated, 3 days. If I pointed something out that needed to be done, he took care of it immediately. I was also pleased that Matt came by to make certain that the job was going well, and to see if I had any concerns.

The process itself was messy, but the Ralph and Ashe did their best to contain dust and dirt. They never left any messes at the end of the day which was great...I wasn't tripping over things after they left. They were always on time, professional, and personable! The whole renovation took about a month to complete (which I expected), but I couldn't be happier with the results! Matt Strausbaugh was very focused on the details of the finished work and made sure everything was done to my satisfaction. I would call them again for any project I needed done and highly recommend this company for your project. Fair price with high quality results!
