I hired Nofziger Door Sales to replace 2 garage door openers at my home. I got estimates from a number of competitors, and not only was Jon's price the best, he did the best job of explaining the choices I had, and why he recommended going with DC units. No other company offered this choice. He was very happy to work with me to customize his quote to the exact work I wanted done, and didn't try to 'upsell' me; in fact, he explained exactly why he recommended the basic units instead of the more expensive ones with features I didn't need nor want. Juan, the Installer, was a pleasure to work with. He called first, showed up early, and got to work right away. He got things done quickly and efficiently, explained what he did, and answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. The openers work great, and the doors operate like they were brand-new. He did truly professional work, and I appreciate it. I would not hesitate to recommend Nofziger Door Sales' services to my neighbors and friends. I plan to continue to use their services for my own needs; I tend to stick with companies I trust. It’s nice to know that there are still companies like Jon's who value relationships, listen to what I want and need, and give me good value for my money.

Nofziger door appears to strive to have excellent customer service as Kyle the service manager came out for free for the initial inspection, he has very good communication skills and responds to emails promptly. But the installer was in a huge hurry and made some mistakes and the company did not seem to want to own up to the mistakes in a timely manner. The technician was also trying to cut corners by not installing my new sensors that came with garage door but ultimately Kyle made him come back and install them as my old sensors was 20 years old. I reached out to Kyle because the garage door didn't appear to be right when opening and closing and was loud, Kyle said he would be out next week to inspect garage door and garage door opener , I waited for about 2 weeks. In desperation to get garage door opening and closing properly, and because it was very loud, i had to hire a separate company to come out and fix the mistakes that where made. They also took my old remote that operated my other garage door when the technician left and didn't bother asking me if it went to other garage door and didn't offer to bring it back, then i had no help trying to figure out how to program the new remote for other garage as it wasn't as simple as the older style remotes i had to contact liftmaster for help. I had to spend an additional 150.00 to get another garage door company to come out here for a service call. I will update my review if it's ever made right

After talking to three other "highly rated" Garage door companies (as rated on Angies list") I contacted Nofzingers who with virtually all A ratings is not even on the first page of the Angies list. While all of the others wanted to replace the opener for somewhere between $500 and $700 the tech from Nofzinger identified the problem quickly and replaced a faulty board for $100. I will be very careful to watch for "Angie bias" from now on.

Outstanding! Came to our home and gave us a quote and catalogue. Very competitive price. Scheduled installation at a convenient time. Doors look great. Staff was punctual, cleaned up after work completed, removed and took old doors and rails with them. Tested to make sure everything worked and reviewed features and maintenance requirements with me. Highly recommend!

Excellent experience with John Nofziger coming out to do estimate. John did not try to oversell his products or accessories. After comparing to other estimates, we scheduled for an install. Gentleman showed up on time; did tear out, install and clean up all by himself in approximately 3-4 hours. Great experience wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company or their employee (wish I could remember his name, so sorry!).

Great fast service. Door is great quality! Installer accidentally cut one of the seals too short but told me about it and was back the next day to fix it.

Our steel garage door was buckling and made a terrible noise when it was raised and lowered. We were afraid that we would have to replace it. Nofziger came promptly and installed a brace on the door that fixed the problem.

It is operating well now.

Great! Came out the same morning I called. Recommended a heavier duty spring since the door gets heavy use.

Perfectly! To say that I am thrilled with the results would be a gross understatement. I asked several other garage door opener installers to give me a bid on the project and none of them would do so due to the "swing-out" doors. I interacted with four Nofzinger employees during the installation process and each was professional, service--oriented and personable. I give this company my highest rating.

Bracket on garage door broke away from one of the panels over the weekend. I called at 8:05am on Monday morning and was surprised to be told they could have someone out that morning. I received a call from the technician at 8:30am telling me he was 30 minutes away and on the way. He arrived at 9:00am and went to work. He repaired the door panel and bracket and also lubricated the spring and rollers. By 9:15am, the job was done, paid and he was on his way. I was thoroughly impressed with all aspects of working with Nozinger and will not hesitate to call them again.

Best experience with a company ever. The installers were prompt, quick, professional, and friendly. The work was done with great care, they took time to assure it was done right. I already had doors and openers that they installed. They were different than what the guys usually install but they were thankful to learn how to install a different type of door. They thanked me for giving them work to do, even on a rainy day that was probably not so fun to work in. I would recommend Nofziger to anyone needing garage doors, or even just service.

I have used Nofziger for 20 years and they are always great. Earlier this year they installed a garage door opener on my second garage door. That worked out great.

More recently, my son backed into one of our two garage doors and knocked it out of alignment. It still worked, but operated a little rough. Nofziger came out today to check it out and to lube, service and adjust both doors. They told me the dented rib could be replaced, but he told me it would not impact the operations much because the door was bent slightly. The adjusted a few items and the door is running like new.

We needed our old garage door replaced because it was not operating well. We got a fast response and they came out to do an estimate and we decided to also replace the opener as long as we were getting a new door. The installer was fast, professional and friendly. We love our new garage door. They hauled away the old door and recommended we try to sell our old opener rather than have them haul it away, which we did. Very happy with this company and would recommend them.
