All appeared to be ok at installation. Now a few years later I have learned they used wood screws and finishing nails to install the Aztek. Additional trim damage was created due to the work they did. Wood putty filler was used against the Aztek which allowed water to build up and cause additional damage under the siding and Aztek Flashing was not re installed in areas where wood and siding joined. Three years later I have to redo 50% of their trim installation. I have had them return on several occasion to repair the siding. It is difficult to get them to return calls after they are paid Material quality is great but the installation is equally important. I am not sure they know/understand this critical concept.

Rick called the next day to follow-up and say they had discussed my situation at their business meeting. He stated that they declined even evaluating the repair. He then was very considerate in giving me a phone number of another company that would undertake the repair.

They did an excellent job. They completed the work they said they would, on time, in a professional manner and for the quoted price.

I think they did a good job with the roof. We've had a reoccurring leaking in the roof. They've had to come back and work on 3 times, it's been a very difficult one to diagnose but they are very persistent. It's been an annoyance.

Very professional. the owner was often on site and always available. the crew was professional and worked quickly. They were very careful with the plants. everything was cleaned up on completion. we replace our skylights at this time and Mod Ex referred us to Skylights Plus - another firm I am very satified with. This neighborhood was replacing/repairing roofs after a hailstorm. there were many contractors working on this block. Even my neighbors were impressed with the workmanship and professionalism

They were 5 inch gutters, so it wasn't a bad deal. It went well, it took them 2 days which was fine. They took their time to install it and put in a soffit which I didn't have before. The experience was good. They laid the gutters on the porch for me to look at and brought a swatch book of colors for me to look at. The men matched it up to the colors of my garage and trim woork. Then they let me choose, then they said that was the one they would have chose, too. It was nice.

Rick, Bob and Mike were great! They were prompt each day and very personable. We really enjoyed having them here. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a very professional team doing work on ther house.

Excellent service. Were on time for estimate and service. Cleaned work area each day. Have needed some follow up several times over several years after the service. They have always responded on a timely basis. Some additionl work was required at no additonal cost. Would highly recommend.

They couldn't complete the whole scope of it so we had to find somebody else. They did work on some of the buildings and it was very nice work. They got another big contract and they backed out on us. They were very good and professional when they were here during the job, but we were not real thrilled when they stopped. We were glad they told us so we had time to find somebody else to get the work done before winter. It wasn't a good time when they got overbooked. An average homeowner probably wouldn't have those problems.

They came out gave us an estimate and installed the following week. About 6 months later we noticed that we were have the same leak show up in an upstairs bedroom. We called them, they came right out, inspected the problem but continued to look to see if there were any other problems which they found 2 other areas of concern. They repaired the issues and until we sold that home had no further problems with the roof. When we put the home up for sale the people who wanted to buy it wanted to make sure that the roof was in good condition and Modern Exteriors came out again and inspected. They took pictures to give to the people interested in our home. None of the additional issues cost a dime. All of the repairs were done and we were not charged and the inspection to our room as not charged either. I have recommended them to several of our friends and find this company the best to work with.

It went good. Very easy, very quick.

I have 8 skylights on the roof. It was only happening in one place. I had no idea how it was getting in. They came right away and figured out the problem. They took photos (I was at work), cleaned the entire roof, cleaned the gutters, went through each of the eight skylights and plugged with something that sealed it. It was a very friendly experience. They are very professional and thorough.

They were very punctual and professional. They knew exactly what needed to be done. They use high qualilty components and installation. They have been in business for 31 years. The employee was very personable and did not talk over me. I had a lot of questions and they treated me right. The insurance company paid for the roof and since they covered the cost I would say the price was competitive. I would say the vendor could have been a little bit more responsive, but the job turned out very well. They are busy but do good work.

They inspected the old roof very thoroughly including taking core samples in making their estimate. The estimate was very close to several others but offered a number of improvements: they quoted a 50 percent thicker membrane, new gutters with leaf catchers, new shingles on the entry roof, tapered insulation in a low area where water would always stand, 2 inch think insulation rather than 1/2 inch, and new edging, They also said that they would remove and reinstall the six skylights so that they could wrap the membrane properly for a good seal. They did an outstanding job. They took photos of what they were encountering while working on it and showed them to me so I could see without being on the roof. I am very impressed with the crew and the job they did. As an add on, I asked for a skylight to be put in the garage roof. They put in for their cost of the skylight. A great experience working with them!

Rick performed an inspection and supplied an estimate to replace the roof. Rick did an excellent job of explaining the options and communicated throughout my claim to the insurance company. Rick met with the adjustor and they agreed the home did not need a new roof.

Rick's crew is as hardworking as any that I have ever seen. They showed up promptly at 8am each morning, and they worked until sundown every night to keep the job on schedule. They even worked a weekend to complete the work as promised. I only had one nail pop in my entire ceiling. They were very careful about preventing interior damage. My yard was cleaned up every day and they did not leave a mess of shingles, supplies, or other materials in our yard, driveway, etc. They were very thorough with their cleanup and we have not had any issues with nails, etc. being found after they left. They communicated with us throughout the process and were very efficient in every facet of the work. I am very pleased with the roof and my experience with Modern Exteriors. I will definitely use them again.

They were very prompt. We were very pleased. They had the work done within a couple days. If we ever need any other roofing work completed we will certainly call them. They were highly rated on Angie's List.

Could not be happier. Rick was very responsive during the hectic weeks after the wind storm. He gave us some numbers of people to tarp the roof and prepare it for the wait time until insurance claims could be processed. The quote was competitive but the materials and install reviews here were what sold us on Modern Exteriors. Once the insurance claim had come back a little less than the quote, Rick offered to discuss directly with the insurance adjuster. They met at an agreement and the entire process was smooth, albeit lengthy due to the number of damage claims in the area and the bad timing of this storm right before winter. Both of which Rick handled professionally even if he had no control of those factors. The install was scheduled during two days of agreeable weather the week before Christmas. The roof looks spectacular and not even the Christmas lights were damaged during the install. I spent a lot of time mucking through roofing component reviews on line but because they only select the best parts to work together as one roofing system, I needn't do so much of my own research. All of my research was fun, but the quoted roof they installed surpassed all the reading and reviews I had endured on line.

I would suggest this company to anyone, I feel they would do a good job for a fair price. They seem to very prompt.

I found that they did very high-quality work, they were friendly and nice people to work with. They were willing to coordinate their schedule to accommodate the window contractors. We were very pleased about the way they cleaned up after the work on the house.

These guys are awesome! They put the roof on eight years ago and they still remember us. Any time there has been a tree fall on the roof they are there to repair it the next day. This time was no exception. They stand behind their high quality product and installation.

They were great and I would recommend them; however, I think I paid more for them than it was worth. They were professional and great all around. There work was an A all around.

They cleaned up after themselves rather thoroughly. They are good people to work with. We got several other estimates, they had a competitive price. They had a lot of trouble with the weather. They kept us posted on when they would be able to start installation. When they did come they were here when they said they would be.
