Completed in 4 days, did good job, very nice individuals.

Start date kept moving back, total days went by with no workmen. No communication about when/if they were showing up. Began mid-May and as of 8/13/16, not done yet. Rich Machol refuses to return our calls, emails, texts. Work that was done is sub-par. Tile not installed correctly in shower, base and seat not angled for water to run off so glass installer told us to have them re-do it.  When they did, they chipped the tile (not replaced). Redid seat angle and used BLACK vs. grey grout and it looks horrible. Rich elected to save money by not having Konkus Marble out to measure so most marble pieces were cut either too short or too long.. They left a hole that was supposed to be closed so we had to have our painter come back to paint. His team closed up a light above the shower that was supposed to be there. The ceiling looks awful because they failed to even try to match ceiling pattern. Installed new toilet with a rag left in it! Resulted in dripping toilet and Sunday visit by plumber. Installed new toilet seat that is broken and Toto will replace it free of charge but Rich Machol will not respond to our requests to provide receipt to us (we paid for the seat but he has receipt). Toto requires it so we are stuck.

Billed us and we paid for work never completed. We have also laid out over $500 (so far) to fix his mistakes. We are not rich people by any means; we have 3 kids in college so this situation is a burden for us, both financially as well as emotionally.

AVOID THIS CONTRACTOR AT ALL COSTS.  I WILL FOREVER REGRET USING MACHOL CONSTRUCTION.

Machol was recommended to me from Jack Woods Plumbing.  Rich Machol was always very responsive to my calls and all estimates were accurate and reasonable.  The company took out an existing shower and replaced it.  They did dry wall work and layed a new linoleum floor in the same bathroom.  A contracting company installed the shower door.  We also had them paint three rooms including the bathroom.  One room needed extensive work--tore down cork board on one wall and very sticky wallpaper too.  All employees were respectful and prompt.  It was overall a very good experience and I will use them again in the future.

The company took care of the time differential by reducing their bill by 25% which I thought was quite professional

I called Machol, they told me where to go to pick out the tile. After that I called back. His assistant came out to looked at the job. explained the process. 

When the marble came in, it went to them and they came out to install it. 

The process took about a month. 

There was a film in my garage from where they cut the marble. I wasn't happy about this because it wasn't picked up and they didn't ask. 

They did a great job actually installing the marble into the bathroom and there have not been any issues. 

They said they could put in floor, I ordered it, called them to see when they could come out. 3 days when by and they never came. 

We played phone tag for about a month and was calling consistently to get this job going. 

After a while I gave up because he never called me back. Now I have all of this tile with no one to finish the job.

They were wonderful. They did exactly what I asked and they were always on time. I trusted them as well. I would recommend them to anyone. They do great work and they get the job done in a timely manner.

We used them a couple of times and really liked them. They are easy to talk to and they tell you exactly what can and can't be done. He did a real good job and I really like that. They told us what our allowance was and we went to certain places and picked out what we wanted. He uses really good suppliers and I will use him again in the future.

They partnered with a plumber for the plumbing work. The plumber actually recommended Machol. They were really good. We were very pleased with them. We had a good experience with them. Rich Machol is the owner and he has two people that work for him. They do one job at a time. They are really meticulous and good. They really worked with us very well. I don?t remember what I spent for the remodel and the plumbing. They did a great job with everything. Rich called me regularly to make sure that I was satisfied. He came over and made sure that the guys were working right. He was always on the job. He wouldn?t stay for the whole time, but he used to come and make sure that things were set up properly and they were doing a good job. He used to pop in periodically to make sure that the guys were working. The guys were really respectful. They did a great job of cleaning up after themselves. They said it was okay and said that they would put up the towel bars for me even though it wasn?t a part of our deal. They really tried hard to make sure that I was satisfied even though there were things that they hadn?t contracted to do. They were very professional and responsible. We are actually thinking of remodeling our second bathroom and we are going to call them again.

I wasn't pleased with the work. It took much longer than it needed to. They would do one part of the project and then not come back despite repeated phone calls. The work still has yet to fully be completed.

They worked in conjunction with my plumber. They kept me informed the whole time. I was very satisfied.

He was very, very good. They were professional, timely, clean, and the price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend them and will use him again.

The crew that came to get the work done did a lot of work on the floor where the toilet was placed. They removed the existing tiles and put new tiles on, so that the toilet could be put back in. My plumber recommended me to use their services. The work was fine. They came in and did a lot of work, so that the toilet wouldn?t fall through, as the wood had rotted. I don?t know if the amount that they charged was good or bad, as I get surprised over any amount. They were pretty responsive, as they came right away. They were professional too.

Rich Machol returned out initial phone call promptly and scheduled a time to come make an estimate. We had two jobs and he gave us estimates for each. We'll have the second job done in better weather. Rich scheduled the work to be done at our convenience. John came out and did the work in a morning's time. He was thorough and careful. He spent time and thought to get the job done exactly right. He even put on a coat of paint on the riser when he was finished. We hadn't expected that. Rich called that afternoon to see how the job went and if we were satisfied. We received the bill in the mail about three days later.

They were cheaper them others companies. He was the first the respond for a quote. He did a good job keeping the house as clean as possible throughout the process.

The work men were in the house while I was at work. I have two dogs and they were fine. Everything was neat and clean and nothing was out of place. Very professional.

Rich Machol is wonderful. He came out to my house the day that I called him and promptly gave me a very reasonable estimate. He is very professional and very knowledgeable. He was able to start the project within 3 weeks and always returned my calls promptly. I thought a job of that size would take a couple days at least. He showed up around 8:15am with a crew of 5 or 6 guys and they had the job done by mid afternoon. They were very efficient. I am very pleased with the work and very thankful for a service like Angie's List.

MR. MACHOL CAME OUT, TOOK MEASUREMENTS AND SAID HE WOULD CALL BACK ONCE AN ESTIMATE WAS READY. HE CALLED BACK, ABOUT 7 DAYS LATER, WITH AN ESTIMATE. WE SCHEDULED A MEETING, HE WENT OVER THE DRAWINGS, WE DISCUSSED ALL OF THE EXPENSES. IT ENDED UP BEING MORE THAN WE WERE PLANNING, SO HE WENT BACK AND REWORKED IT WITH SOME OF THE PLANS REMOVED, CALLED BACK THE NEXT DAY. VERY QUICK, VERY PROFESSIONAL. WOULD DO BUSINESS WITH HIM AGAIN.

THEY CLEANED UP VERY NICELY, THEY ALWAYS RETURNED OUR CALLS, CAME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THEY DID EVERY THING I ASKED AND WOULD DO THINGS OVER IF I ASKED THEM TO. THEY TRIED VERY HARD TO PLEASE, THEIR PRICING WAS COMPETITIVE. THEY HAD A GOOD ATTITUDE, WE WOULD USE THEM AGAIN.

HE WAS PUNCTUAL. WE DID ENCOUNTER A PROBLEM WITH A SHOWER STALL, BUT HE MADE IT RIGHT. THE PROJECT TOOK A LITTLE BIT LONGER BECAUSE OF THIS, BUT HE ACTUALLY STOPPED USING THAT PERSON BECAUSE OF THE EXPERIENCE WITH OUR PROJECT.

CAME OUT IMMEDIATELY TO PROVIDE ESTIMATE. TRIED TO WORK AROUND ROOFERS & PAINTERS SCHEDULE (PAINTERS, ROOFERS WERE A PAIN). INSTALLED AS PROMISED AND LEFT BILL IN MAIL BOX. NO FUSS, NO MUSS EXPERIENCE.

THE COMPANY WAS VERY EASY TO WORK WITH. THEY WERE ON TIME AND PAID ATTENTION TO ALL THE DETAILS.

WHEN THEY FIRST GAVE US AN ESTIMATE, THEY FOUND HAIL DAMAGE TO ROOF. WE WERE CONCERNED ABOUT HAVING GUTTER WORK DONE PRIOR TO REPAIRING/REPLACING THE ROOM. THE OWNER ASSURED US THAT THERE WOULD BE NO PROBLEMS AND NO ADDITIONAL COSTS TO US IF THE GUTTER WORK WAS DONE FIRST. THIS WAS NOT THE CASE--IT COST US AN ADDITIONAL $500 WHEN THE ROOF WAS REPAIRED TO REMOVE & REPLACE THE GUTTER TOPPER SYSTEM. WHEN WE SELECTED THE GUTTER SYSTEM, WE WERE CONCERNED ABOUT CLOGGING UP THE SYSTEM WITH MAPLE TREE SEEDS. WE WERE ASSURED THAT THIS SYSTEM WOULD WORK WITHOUT PROBLEMS. THE GUTTER SYSTEM DOES NOT DO THE JOB IT IS EXPECTED TO DO. THE GUTTER TOPPERS ARE CLOGGED. MOREOVER, THE GUTTER IS SLANTED AWAY FROM THE DRAIN CAUSING FLOODING AROUND THE HOUSE AND DAMAGE TO THE ROOF.
