Jacob, Charlie, and team were wonderful to work with! We had a very difficult project approval process, and they worked with us every step of the way (over a LONG period of time) to get all the necessary approvals. Jorge and crew were amazing. They were always punctual, friendly, and meticulous. They focused down to smallest detail to ensure we were 100% satisfied. We were looking for a landscape master plan design. I started communication with Jacob Basnett at Landscape Design Solutions (one of the owners) in late April and early May to initiate this project. The Owner shared that tree availability was a challenge but he'd work with us a little later after the busy early season rush. I checked in with them on June 7 and got the following response "I have you on my list, one thing to be aware of is a substantial shortage in trees is really manifesting here in 2021." Next I checked in on Aug 26 and was told "You are on my list, I should be able to wrap this up by next week.". When I checked in October, I found the owner to be rude and they indicated that they were not going to produce our product - here is a quote from his email: "That being said I wish you well in finding someone who can better serve you and your needs." Obviously, we were very frustrated as this was the first step of delivering appx 12 new trees in the HOA common area for beautification for the subdivision for this and subsequent years. This forces us to scramble around to try to find a replacement at the last minute to deliver on the HOA plan and budget. I would not recommend them. Also noteworthy, the owner claims that he is going to forward this to his attorney if I file any negative reviews and I quote from the owner "you will force me to seek legal advice if I see a single review". I hate spending time to share this but I think it is noteworthy for potential future customers to be aware.

"Unfortunately we were unable to help this prospective client with their project because of current and existing supply issues as I see them from a designers standpoint. Simply put, I was not comfortable putting forth a plan that I felt could not be implemented as I have designed the plan. [Member Name Removed] did not like my recommendation to work with a nursery who has better access to plant material, as we do not grow our own plants. I never asked, nor did I ever charge the HOA nor [Member Name Removed] at anytime. We work hard for our clients and our reputation speaks for itself, it is never issue to tell someone you cannot not help them with their project. We wish them well in finding someone they can be happy with and help them in the future!"

I highly recommend using Landscape Design Solutions (LDS) for your project. My wife and I went into this project with a general idea of what we were looking for, but Greg provided us with a design that really brought it to life. We walked through the yard - pointing to plants we would like to be removed and asked for some suggestions. Greg took this information and came back with a wonderful design that took our incomplete idea and made it whole. He explained the plants he chose, why they are best for our environment, how we can expect them to look year-round, etc. Further, the price for all of the work performed was excellent. I worked with several other local landscapers to compare designs/prices and my choice was very easy. LDS beat out the competitors in both design and price. When it came time to execute the design, the team was excellent. Greg and other members of LDS kept the lines of communication open - letting us know when they would arrive, what to expect when they are there and any questions they had throughout. They worked efficiently and we are very pleased with the result thus far. Our job was completed in November, so we really haven't had the chance to see the flowers bloom, but I was given comfort by LDS' warranty. If one of the plants does not "take" in the first year, LDS assured us that they will work with us so that the results of project meet our expectations. I also wanted to note that the crew was tidy. No messes were left around the yard and no damage was done when hauling machinery/plants around to the back of our house. Once the project was complete, Greg walked us through everything and ensured that it met our standards. As everything looked great, no additional work was needed. During the final walk-through, Greg also did a great job educating us on how to care for our new plants and what we could expect throughout their first year. In short, our experience was great: - Good people and company - Solid design (more robust and thoughtful than competitors contacted) - Excellent price (significantly lower than competitors contacted) - No compromise on quality of work - everything looks great - Clean and respectful crew I have already referred them to family and will be contacting them for any future landscaping needs!

The work was done professionally and on time and looks great. The regular maintenance program is also a plus for the company. The entire project was completed in 10 days and we couldn't be happier with the final product. From start to finish the project went smoothly. The workers were very professional and friendly and showed not only exceptional skills in their work, but completed each task of the project with diligence and great attention to every detail! We were very impressed at how hard they worked each day. We also appreciated their efforts in cleaning things up at the end of each day.

Greg was who we worked with and he was great. You could really tell he knew what he was talking about, he set himself and LDS apart from the other 5 quotes we got. He was realistic with a completion time and was always responsive to my calls, texts or emails. They ended up completing the job almost a month early because of a schedule shift. The install crew was great as well as they cleaned up after themselves and did great work.

We are very pleased with the work. Jeff was quick to answer our initial inquiry. He came out on May 12. He is very knowledgeable and gave some good suggestions. Our estimate was emailed a couple of days later. The work was done in the first week of June. Both Jeff and his worker were polite and professional. Our yards look great.

Excellent! We wanted a 5' x 25' patio pad to transition from our back porch to the backyard. The drop necessitated a step across 13' of the opening. We asked Greg G. to design a nice paver pad. The quote was detailed and LDS did everything they said they would do. They laid plywood sheets on the lawn to the backyard to protect the lawn from the equipment they used and picked them up each day. This pad and planting took a week to install and the LDS workers cleaned after each day's work. Truly professional and I have recommended LDS to my neighbors.

This was our first time working on an outside firm for an outdoor project of this size. We worked with several firms however only LDS came back with a design that aligned with our wishes. Jesse Van Walsen worked with us on several revisions as we balanced our budget with our desired backyard plan. We had a large deck built, seating wall and hardscape, grill bay, and surrounding landscape installed. Jesse suggested we go to their supplier and select the build materials, this turned out to be excellent advice and I would encourage others to do the same rather than selecting out of a catalog. This was a winter project so we expected some delays but the installation team worked hard through the winter months to complete the project on time. Both my wife and I appreciated how attentive Jesse and Jeff were at ensuring we were pleased and happy with our project. The landscaping was done in the early spring with mixed results. The installation itself was beautifully done and well spaced. LDS worked with my wife to ensure spacing and placement met her needs. However after the first couple months some of the plants were not fairing well and I felt one of the Emerald Green Arborvitae was not fairing well. Jeff came out and replaced one of the plants that had died and communicated we should wait a little longer on some of the others. A couple of months have passed and the arborvitae is dead along with some additional plants. I don't fault the company and they have honored their contract and are standing by their work by replacing those plants that have died. I would definitely recommend LDS as they have stood by their statement of being "Honest, Ethical, Creative and Innovative".

It went very well. First, the only thing that did not go great was the price. Even after having us do the porch demolition and disposal, it was more expensive than we wanted to pay. When the final contract was ready to be signed, we asked them to come with suggestions to bring the cost down a few hundred dollars, like different building materials or slightly different design, but they didn't have any suggestions. This was on top of a miscommunication on what discounts could be applied and which ones could not be combined. Though after the paper work was signed, all went really smoothly. Whenever we contacted them, they were quick to respond. When they didn't know an answer, they let us know that they heard our question and were looking into it. They let us know their schedule even though it was an outdoor, winter project (so we didn't need to be home while they were working and we weren't on a tight schedule to use the space). We usually didn't see their workers, but when we did, they were friendly and professional. They always cleaned up the work space and left it as functional as possible at the end of the day. One snag was encountered in which they unearthed some termite damage to the house. Though they didn't do the work they were able to recommend others who could and then coordinated with them to keep the process going with minimal effort on our part. The final project looks really well done and of solid construction. We are looking forward years of enjoying a quality job.
