They changed out the locks on 3 doors. Scheduling was easy, they showed up exactly when they said they would, cut me the amount of keys I asked for, and were polite and professional. I would hire again!

Spoke with them on the phone and they asked us to send photos via text, which we did. We then sent them an email with some more information on the same day. They never got back to us, despite having our phone number and email. Don't mind if they tell us they don't want to bother with a small job, but not getting back to us after asking for more detail is unacceptable.

After struggling for years with our sticky front door lock, we were at the point of barely being able to insert our key and if we did get the key in, getting back out was next to impossible. I called Golden Bear and they were able to schedule my service almost immediately. I was sure we would need a new lock but our technician said we only needed a cleaning. He completed the service in less than an hour and even tightened our door knob. It's like having a new lock without having the to pay for one!

From start to finish the service couldn't have been better.  The initial contact with Lori was super and she was friendly, professional and got an appointment scheduled promptly.  The technician, Rob, was on time, called first, solved the problem and was very friendly and you could tell he knew what he was doing.  I wish every encounter with service providers went this well. I would highly recommend them and will call them in the future.  Great job!

They are excellent.  They came and they changed locks and they all work.  They do put the keys and as many as I wanted and they all work.  They just did everything that they should have done.  I have absolutely no complaints and I will use them again.

Fantastic company!  Called on 1/16--arranged an appt for the next week. Mid-afternoon, they called that they had a  cancellation in my area and Jerry was available that afternoon.  He came within 1 hour, completed the lock replacement, explained everything and was on his way by 4:30pm.  Professional service!

I visited their storefront and was greeted promptly by friendly staff. I was updating locks and had three new locksets in boxes and one older cylinder from a door that I wanted keyed to match a key I provided. They completed all the work in about 15 minutes and tested all the locks and keys to ensure everything was perfect. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

This company provided us with the most outstanding service we could hope for. As we were at the airport about to leave on a trip, we got a call from our housesitter telling us that our doorknob was broken and the front door did not work. We needed to get the doorknob fixed immediately, and we called Golden Bear. Golden Bear came out within a few hours, did the work quickly and professionally, and did a terrific job.

They did not use a new lock and I was not very pleased with that. They put a dirty old used lock into my nice new door handle, so I was not all that impressed. I would tell other member considering using them to be careful what they are asking for specifically because I did not think that they would put in a used lock. I thought when I requested to have new locks put in that they would use new locks and not just new to me locks. I was not overall impressed with them. They came out fairly quickly.

No problems...quick and professional work. I will call them if I ever need additional lock service.

They were here within two hours and repaired the lock without having to replace it. I thought their fee was reasonable and their promptness really impressed me. I would use them again in the future.

The initial visit was fine -- we got exactly what we wanted. The second visit was what we really appreciated -- we came home between a wedding ceremony and reception to find that our deadbolt mechanism was sliding and virtually impossible to open. We called Golden Bear, and they were out in time for us to make it to the reception; the repairman was very honest about what we needed and didn't need in terms of a secure but reasonable deadbolt replacement.

The work was scheduled on a Friday for an appointment on the following Tuesday. When I made the appointment on the Friday, I immediately called back (2 minutes) to ask a question. The person answering the phone had no idea who I was and could not locate the person I had just talked to. The contractor was late for the appointment but called shortly after the scheduled time to say he would be late. He asked for directions, despite me giving the information to the person taking the call when the appointment was scheduled. The locksmith arrived 35 minutes past the scheduled time. Upon arrival he quickly changed the locks, made four keys and made an adjustment on one of the strike plates at no extra charge. The locks and keys work great.
