"[Member Name Removed] Thank you for your review. However, I will need to disagree with you on several points. You have sent plenty of emails voicing your appreciation of our Director of Client Services' help and work ethic over the 2 seasons we were able to service your pool. In fact, you thanked her several times over those two seasons via email. This example is from 5/26/23: You always have a way at making me feel better, thank you for that... I trust that Ryan knows what he is doing and feel more reassured.... Admittedly we know very little about pool maintenance. As to your claim that service is never consistent, that just is not true. We visited your pool every week, on Thursdays, to perform chemical checks as promised and you received a detailed report via email after each visit. After looking through the account history, I saw that every technician that performed work on your pool has been with our company for well over 3 years. The only time you ever complained about QUALITY of work is when the technician noticed your basket was failing and allowing debris to get through to your equipment. So, as instructed, the technician replaced your broken basket with a new one. When you complained about that decision, we remedied your complaint immediately and returned the item, credited your account, and put the broken basket back. It is unfortunate that we had to make some tough decisions to shrink our service area, and that your house is no longer in our service area, but we gave you plenty of notice to find another company. Further, we do not have any pool customers on your street. If you saw our truck in the area, it could have been for any number of reasons. I do apologize that you seem to be very upset by the business decisions we had to make, but you were fine with our service until that decision was made. A one-star review, given our history, is absurd."
When I first contacted the provider they were great and did all the maintenance for my hot tub. Now, this year they have decided that I'm no longer "worth it" to come to Sunbury and provide me service. They must have not been as busy last year and needed my business, but now that they are busy, I'm no longer important to them.
I would be leery to start a relationship with them due to the fact that they might drop you like a hot potato and any given time.
"Mr. [removed member name], It is unfortunate your perception is that I feel your business is no longer “worth it” or that I only took your business on because my schedule was not full. Neither of those is the case. My schedule and service area have been growing and changing since 2003. My company’s history webpage shows the steady growth over the last 12 years: [hyperlink removed] As a business owner and operator I am constantly evaluating our practices and procedures to make sure that they make sound business sense. Among the biggest of these is managing our geographic service area. I recently made the decision to narrow our service area for maintenance services. You were our only maintenance client in Sunbury, OH, which is a 40 minute, one way trip from my office in Plain City. Because of this and the infrequency of the service visits, you were informed that Endless Summer Pool and Spa Service, LLC would no longer be able to service your spa. In attempt to help you transition to a new service provider, you were offered the contact information for a highly regarded competitor. Also, you were referred to my industry’s national trade association website, which has a “Find a Pro” feature that allows you to search for additional service providers by city or zip code. I do apologize that Endless Summer Pool and Spa Service, LLC is no longer able to help you with your spa and wish you the best. Tom Mader Vice President Endless Summer Pool and Spa Service, LLC"
One of the owners, Mr. Caldwell, came out the next morning at 11:30 a.m. in response to my call. He explained what the equipment had done and why, and said the charge to repair it would be for an hour?s work plus parts. I was afraid the damage might have been really serious, but it wasn?t. He took time to explain things. I had been freaked out by this experience and really appreciated the prompt and good service. The only possible misstep was that some of the glue had dripped onto the pipe beneath and was not cleaned off before it dried. This might have been there already.
A few days later, I checked the equipment and the new pipe seemed to hot. I also had a couple of other concerns. I called Endless Summer. Mr. Caldwell came out again and addressed my concerns. I had misunderstood some things about the levers and he cleared this up. He also explained that air in the system had made the pipe overheat, and that leaving both the main drain and skimmer valves completely open would contribute to this. After he left the equipment ran beautifully and the pipe did not over hear. I have just begun working with this company and so far I have been very favorably impressed.
Price: I haven't received a bill yet.
"This review is misleading and was completed out of spite. The price is incorrect and the date of service is also incorrect: we charge $105 for a spa service call (not the $125 you indicated) and the visit was scheduled for February 25, 2013 (not May 1, 2013 as you indicated). You initiated and scheduled the service call by calling our office line. Like most service companies we have a minimum fee when a truck and service tech are dispatched to a job site. Since the numerous invoices sent to you were ignored, I had to call you to discuss the unpaid invoice. At the onset of the phone call you refused payment, suggested that my time and expense have no value and indicated that I was wasting your time. This Angie's List review was completed only after my call seeking payment. I made the phone call June 19, 2013. This review was completed June 23, 2013. The most interesting thing about this review is that this was not the first time we dispatched a service tech to your spa. Five other service call hours were billed for repairs to your spa in 2009. No Angie's List review (good or bad) was made for those service calls."
