Dublin Pump & Water Conditioning

Called them for water softener repair - after countless visits & paying fees the water softener is still not working right. Maybe I just had a bad rep. Go with a reputable contractor who has been around for long time.

Do not hire these guys or anyone resembling Dublin pump, Dublin plumbing etc. They went bankrupt & will drive you crazy due to their incompetency. If this is a different company, i apologize.

Stay away from this company.  They put in tanks for our irrigation system to remove the rust from the well water that was turning our hardscape orange.  The quote was competitive with a few others and I chose them.  I wanted to cover my bases because of the high cost of making this decision so got a written guarantee.  They installed it and told me all was good.  Well, it did not remove the rust and caused significant staining to the hardscape.  They came back to inspect and determined outside piping was not done properly.  I agreed to split the $800 cost with them (they had to get an outside vendor do this because they did not have the expertise to do this) to change the outside piping (even though they told me the $7,500 would get the system fully up and working).  That was done and the system still did not work and caused significantly more staining.  I had another provider come out to examine and they determined the system that was installed would not work.  I called and asked for the tanks to be removed because of the damage and the fact that the system did not work.  I sent letters, emails and put calls into the company and Ron Jordan (the owner of the company) that he claimed he never got.  I finally get a hold of him after two months of trying and he calls me an a****** and berates me and tells me he is not responsible for the guarantee or any of the damage.  I had to threaten to sue him to get my money back.  At the end of the day he would only pay me for the tank and none of the upcharge ($5,000 out of the $7,500) after waiting another two months and having him try to shortchange me by another $1,500 during that period.  He also stiffed the person who redid the piping so I was stuck paying that person the $400 that Mr. Jordan personally told me he would pay (I wanted to make sure that guy would not be out $400).  At the end of the day I am out $2,900 and have significant staining to my patio hardscape.  This company does not perform work properly, does not backup their work, does not live up to their commitments with customers or other vendors and is unprofessional and aggressive when asked to live up to their commitments.

My sump pump stopped working on a Sunday when it was pouring rain.  They were here within 45 minutes and replaced the old sump pump.  They were very professional and solved my problem very quickly.

Dublin pump was veryu helpful we talked about the possibility of coming out over the weekend which could have been done, but after further discussion waiting till first thing on Monday morning was agreed upon.  The appointment first thing ended up being early in the afternoon, a minor inconvenience.  The work Trevor performed was exactly what needed to be done and in a timely fashion once he arrived.  I would use their services on any future well needs.

The well water at our rural home had a bad odor and taste from the first day we moved in.  The existing softener was functioning, just not removing the iron and other chemicals.  After receiving a couple of quotes and one very interesting sales call, Keith Votaw, the General Manager tested our water and provided a recommendation for a system similar to what he uses in his own home.  He even steered us away from a more-expensive system to one that matched our needs.  His service technicians (Bob Stone) arrived as planned and finished in the projected time.  After removing the old system, they plumbed in the new softener and a reverse osmosis system for drinking water.  The installation is much neater than the old system with everything nicely tucked against the wall.  They completely cleaned-up after themselves.  My wife praised their professionalism.  It was great stepping into a shower where the water isn't excessively soft and doesn't smell.  They are following up in a couple of weeks to ensure everything works as predicted.

When they installed it the installer tracked mud all over my carpet.  We complained, and they informed us they would not charge us the installation fee of $149.  I checked my bank statement and they took the installation fee out of my credit card.  They said they weren't going to do this.  I called to complain and Keith told me I had been a pain since I first called in, and that he was going to come remove his equipment; if I didn't surrender it, he would sue.  I felt he was very rude. 

It was great.

I like that they were able to deal with the odd set up that we had. They have responded quickly every time that we have used the company. We feel that the price was withing a reasonable range.

TODD WAS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND SEEMED LIKE A GOOD GUY. OVERALL, THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB.

THEY WERE HERE SOONER THAN THEY ORIGINALLY TOLD ME. THEY EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM, WHAT IT WOULD TAKE TO REPAIR THE PUMP AND THEY FIXED IT. IT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE.

THE RECEPTIONIST WAS POLITE AND INFORMATIVE. JIM WAS OUR TECH AND HE WAS WONDERFUL - SO RARE TO FIND SUCH COURTEOUS, INTELLIGENT, HONEST SERVICE PEOPLE. HE WAS ON TIME AND VERY INFORMATIVE. HE ALSO STAYED LONGER TO ANSWER ALL OF OUR QUESTIONS (WE ARE BOTH NEW TO HAVING A WELL), GAVE US SUGGESTIONS FOR FUTURE REPLACEMENT AND FOR MAINTENANCE THAT WE COULD PERFORM ON OUR OWN TO AVOID PROBLEMS LATER. HE WAS RESPECTFUL OF OUR INTELLIGENCE, VERSUS THE MAJORITY OF SERVICE REPS THAT TRY TO GIVE THE HARD SALE AND KEEP THEIR CUSTOMERS IN THE DARK. THEY HAVE WON LIFETIME CUSTOMERS AND GREAT WORD-OF -MOUTH ADVERTISING. THANK YOU, JIM, AND DUBLIN PUMP AND WATER!

NO TROUBLE GETTING THEM OUT, SERVICE PERSON WAS VERY EFFICIENT AND INFORMATIVE.

THE OWNER CAME RIGHT ON TIME TO DIAGNOSE THE PROBLEM--WHICH HE DID QUICKLY AND ACCURATELY. THE SERVICE TECH WAS ON SITE IN ANOTHER 30 MINUTES. ALL TOLD THEY HAD THE WELL OPEN, PUMP PULLED, REPLACED AND RE-SEATED IN LESS THAN 2 HOURS. THEY WERE INFORMATIVE AND KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT THEIR SERVICE. I APPRECIATED THE QUICK RESPONSE.

THEY WERE CHEAPER THAN THE OTHER FOUR COMPANIES AND I CALLED AND THEY HAD A BETTER SYSTEM. THEY WERE ALSO EXCELLENT A FEW YEARS AGO WITH WATER SOFTENER INSTALLATION AND BASICALLY ANYTHING TO DO WITH WELL WATER PROBLEMS.

WONDERFUL COMPANY!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I COULDN''T HAVE BEEN HAPPIER. I WAS ESPECIALLY IMPRESSED BY THE PROMPTNESS SHOWN. OTHER PLACES I CALLED TOLD ME IT WOULD TAKE AT LEAST A DAY TO DO THE WORK, THIS COMPANY WAS ABLE TO SEND SOMEONE IN AN HOUR. AND THE $700. OR SO I EXPECTED TO HAVE TO PAY WAS ONLY $70 OR SO. GOOD WORK!

THE REPAIR MAN WAS UNABLE TO PUT THE DISMANTLED WELL PUMP BACK INTO WORKING ORDER, SO WE HAD TO USE ANOTHER COMPANY TO GET THE WORK DONE.
