The Suter Group Residential Remodeling

He took out all the fixtures, and rebuilt and tiled the shower, the tub surround, did all the tile on the floor and backsplash around counters.   He is excellent at tiling!   He was very careful and cleaned up every day.    It took a bit longer than he estimated but not too long. He also did my neighbors bathroom and she loved the work he did.    I was very pleased with his work and plan on using him as update and redo my other bathrooms.

The job seemed to go very well.  Dave was punctual, efficient and the bathroom was what I expected.  Dave did not do the work himself, but was on site several times to inspect and supervise.  I was initially pleased.
My only initial concern is that he did the electrical work without getting any permits/approvals, which I believe are required, though I could be wrong.  I didn't pay much mind, though, because I was just happy to have the job done.
A few years later, though, the shower pan began to crack.  I'm no expert, but a shower pan should have a longer life unless it was installed incorrectly.  It should be set in a bed of mortar/cement so that it has a stable base.  This one was not.  In the end the cracks worsened and we ended up with major water leaks that damaged surrounding floor and subfloor.
My biggest problem was that Dave would not return calls.  I was willing to pay for repairs, but at least wanted to consult with him as he was the original contractor.  He did not respond to initial emails.  I did reach him by phone once and he promised to come out to take a look in a few weeks after he finished a job.  I never received a call to schedule that visit.  Every subsequent attempt to reach him resulted in silence - phone calls, emails, a letter (which was returned because the address was bad).  
Maybe something happened and Dave was simply no longer able to respond.  But lacking any communication I'm left to believe he was simply avoiding me.

He showed up every day and he did the work crystal. I assumed the price is fair.

They seemed okay. They were really good about getting back to me, setting up the ordinances, giving me the information I wanted, and putting me in contact with people that had the best prices. I just bought a sink and a faucet, I saved about half of what I would have paid at any other place. It was his prices.

Dave Suter is who I work with. I have used him on a few small jobs but I am about to embark on a large project with him. He has been very good so far and he comes highly recommended from friends who have used him for larger jobs. Dave had remodeled a friend's kitchen and he raved about his work. We had him do some small jobs first before we embarked on something big. He lived up to the reputation so we are about to use hi for a bathroom remodel project. He seems efficient, competent and provides good work. He is a very good finished carpenter and his price is quite reasonable.

Dave did an excellent job. He was very responsive throughout the entire process, getting back to me when I woudl call very quickly. He was always available to answer questions leading up to the remodel. His quote was easily the lowest of the ones I received. He completed the job within a week, as promised. He was very professional and both he and his helper were hard workers. Everything went well. The only complaint in retrosepct was that he did not suggest getting a permit for any of the work. I'm not sure it was required, but suspect maybe it was. I never thought to ask myself. I would still hire Dave for another job.

The whole process went well. Dave arranged an on-site review - working with our schedules - and then had the estimate to us within a matter of days. We scheduled him - again to our convenience - for late March. The entire process went well. They were here by 9 and done by 2.

This entire job took two and a half months. Everything worked right on schedule and even coordinated with our outdoor landscaping and pool contractors at the same time (power and water cut-offs, heavy equipment moving in and out, etc.) Every detail was discussed when necessary, advice offered when asked, Dave took an interest in every aspect of our remodeling indoor and out! When our outdoor contractor could not reach us, Dave took on the responsibility of answering questions and delegating tasks. There were a few problems that could not have been foreseen that Dave handled calmly, professionally and quickly!
