Elite Restoration and Repair

Paid half of job cost to Sam on April 20th to start a job that I was told "should only take 3 or 4 weeks". Took more than 3 weeks to start. It is now August 18th, not only is the job not complete, I have not had siding on the back of my home since the beginning of May, and I have had to call several of his hired subcontractors to finish work. All of whom stated that they have not heard from Sam about my job needing done. Nor do they regularly do work for Sam. I asked Sam to remove the dumpster from my driveway in mid July and it was just removed last week, and only because I called the dumpster service and threatened to have it removed myself. I was then told that Sam had never contacted the dumpster company to have them remove it. I have been all summer trying to remove a tree that can not be cut down until this dumpster is removed just to find out Sam has failed to even ask! I have had windows sitting in my garage for 4 weeks that should have been installed the week of delivery, Sam told me for 2 weeks straight he has not been able to reach his installer. I spoke to his installer personally who stated he hasn't heard from Sam. Not to mention the lack of attention to detail, his painter did not prep any walls for paint and left spots on the ceilings and trim not to mention he left a ton of paint on my new floors for me to clean up. The floors in my half bathroom need replace already, and we had to put in the toilet and vanity ourselves. We also did most of the demo ourselves and did not receive a sufficient reduction for that labor. We had to all of the leg work to find french doors for our interior and exterior doors. To top it off we had to clean up everything, I paid over 15k for a half *** job. I chose this company because of all of the positive reviews and the amount of work he has done in the Pickerington area. I am heart broken and broke, now that I have paid him in full to do a job that was not completed. Now I have exterior damage to my home due to there being no siding on my home for months and home owners insurance will not cover the damages due to the lack of siding.
