"In response to this review I myself as the owner inspected this roof and gave the estimate for cleaning. The roof was stained with black algae and paint overspray from the spray painting of the metal valley flashings. The proposal which was signed 6-14-2014 which was on a Saturday we cleaned the roof on the following Friday 6-20-2014 Owner called me that Friday early evening .I am directly available to all of my owners . Customer said looks like a very small area was missed I was out promptly next day on Saturday to inspect, we both agreed the roof looked great just the one area possibly needed attention Then on Monday the customer called and said she could see stains when CLOUDY but not SUNNY this evidently occured on Sunday ????? I assured her we would reclean the 3 foot by 3 foot area again. The crew recleaned the area on that Monday , Tuesday she said it was still there . I personally went with the crew on Wednesday afternoon and recleaned the area a 3rd time and what became apparent is the cleaning uncovered a very , very, light rust stain that happened before the valley flashing had been painted. Customer had offered to pay by credit card via text , I said for your protection I will call you when we get all resolved not to send credit card info in a text. It was the following week before I contacted about payment she then became angry saying I said I would take credit card , and now I would not . I said we can take payment by check or credit card her choice, she then said why are you calling me? The company I work for some times takes 60 to 90 days to get paid. Our proposal when signed becomes a contract that clearly states due upon completion. She then demanded a seperate bill , We, provided a seperate bill, she sent payment by check with a note of more criticism as to how the bill was dated. All during our 30 years in the roofing industry , we have strived to have 100% satisfaction for all of our customers, it is unfortunate we were unable to achieve it for this customer"
