Bruce was highly recommended to me through a friend.  I regret not reading the previous review as I had the same experience.  The work was poor quality and very sloppy.  I ended up telling Bruce not ot come back toward the end of the project and brought in another contactor who had to practically start from scratch.  I asked Bruce to raise the soffit over the bathtub where a light/fan was going in. He said it could not be done, installed the fan and put another layer of drywall over the existing plaster ceiling that was not level.  This caused problems with the top row of shower tile.  The project started mainly because the the west wall was crumbling slightly in spots due to moisture/water damage.  Bruce put more spackling mud over the wall instead of taking the wall down to the studs and fixing the problem.  The quality of the drywall was very poor.  He also did not put any plastic up to minimize the dust and used my fan and power vac, getting them dirty, instead of his own equipment.  The new contractor was able to fully raise the soffit (since there was nothing inside it but a fram and insulation) and took the main walls down to the studs.  This revealed water damage as well as poor electrical work (fixtures and wires in the wall that should have been cleaned out) from the electrician who Bruce hired.  All of this was fixed by the new contractor.  Overall I am very disappointed especially since he was highly recommended to me.  I wasted my time and money and would never hire him again.  His price was low and there is a reason.  You get what you pay for.

They took a long time to finish the job. The price quote was not close. It was 300 more then original price quote. They have not done a good job at all. There are many flaws in their work. They cut a lot of corners.
