DIRECTIONS CREDIT UNION

It took an hour standing at a teller's window to accomplish opening the account. She didn't seem to know a lot of the steps to complete the task, but at the time we thought, "everyone is new sometime" and put up with it even though it was killing my back and there were chairs and a desk right next to her window. The teller could have told us that some of the things we needed to do could be done online. The wait time for mailing the debit cards initially was about 9 days. The problem was that it was Saturday and they'd misprinted my card. I had to reorder a corrected card on Monday. I STILL don't have a usable card two and a half weeks later! Multiple calls have been made to find out what is taking so long because I was told it would just take a few days. I have recently found out that the person who ordered the reprint didn't even order it until the following Friday! Upon calling to activate one card, I was told that "all cards on this account are now activated". This was also NOT TRUE. Neither one had been activated. It had to be done all over again. Then online banking was impossible to count on. I am repeatedly locked out of online banking so that I can't complete the transitions and track bill paying and balances. This is causing problems with closing my old bank account. I am wondering if I should have just put up with them. At least I had access to my money. Directions Credit Union doesn't appear to understand the importance of doing their jobs well where customers' money is concerned.
