CUTTING EDGE COUNTERTOPS
About us
"If we can't find it, let's create it", was the catalyst for the concept of Cutting Edge Countertops, Inc. The three founders took their years of experience and knowledge from family owned businesses and created Cutting Edge Countertops, Inc. In April of 2006, the company moved into their showroom and fabrication facility, which includes a full slab indoor viewing area, in Perrysburg, Ohio. Since then, the company has grown to become a large-scale industry leader, expanding on the foundation of a solid business model, providing residential and commercial customers the products and services they have come to desire.

Cutting edge set-up a time to come out and measure and was very prompt and very professional. I cannot say enough about the accuracy and fabrication of the countertops. They were right on. The countertops fit like a glove.
We had set up a time for Cutting Edge to come out and install the countertops and again the guys were right on time (actually a few minutes early, but that was a good thing) and very professional. They had the countertops installed, leveled and looking fantastic in a short time. And like I mentioned before the countertops fit perfect up against the walls.
Overall, the product and professionalism of Cutting Edge was great. Their name ?Cutting Edge? fits them well. They are on
the cutting edge of technology & fabrication. We received a great product at a reasonable price and great service. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND them
Our pre-purchase experience was good, and we received excellent support and help in making our choices.

After finalizing our choices, we were supposed to get pictures of our granite choices laid out over the design templates, so we could visualize our yet to be installed countertops. This happened for our kitchen, but not for the bathroom.

We set up an install date, and were provided a delivery window of 8:30 ? 9 when the installers would arrive (first appointment of the day). When it was a ½ hour later than the window provided, we called and were told that another job had been scheduled ahead of ours at the last minute. It was only a 1 ½ hour delay after the provided window, but it would have been nice to have received a call. When the installers did arrive, we found the bathroom backsplashes had not been loaded. We agreed to wait on them for a week when the kitchen backsplashes (a planned second phase) would be installed. The installers were pleasant, courteous and professional, and did an excellent job.

The installation of the kitchen backsplashes was set up and a delivery time window of 8:30 - 9 was given. This time we did get a call from our salesperson about 9:15 to tell us there was a problem with our order and delivery would be delayed until sometime later that afternoon. We asked for a call back about a new delivery time with as much lead time as possible, as we had to re-arrange schedules due to the last minute change. We did get a call about 2PM from the install crew telling us they would be to our house in about 10 minutes. As before, the install crew gets high marks. We left a message with our salesperson expressing our disappointment that we had not been updated, and asking about a possible price reduction because I had lost an entire work day instead of just a few hours. We never got a return call.

Overall, the product and professionalism of Cutting Edge was great. We received a quality product at a reasonable price. We do feel they fell down on communication and organization during the delivery phase, and spoiled an otherwise near perfect experience.
