We had Suncrest Gardens remove the old, overgrown landscaping from around the entire perimeter of our home and replace it with new landscaping. They also removed 2 dead trees and replaced them with new ones. Russ the salesman and landscaping architect walked around the outside of our home and listened to what we wanted done. He provided suggestions and really seemed to listen. He came back about 1 week later to review the drawings with us, and explained the pricing. After we made a 10 percent down payment, we got the project scheduled for about 3 weeks later. The start date was delayed a bit by rain, but not more than I would have expected. The bulk of the work was done over the course of 2 days, but could not be finished for about 2 weeks because they were missing some of the plants we had ordered. Once they came in, they got them installed. Everything looks great and we could not be happier.

It went perfectly.I would highly recommend them.

We go there quite a bit to. It is a nursery that we enjoy going to. They have a lot of variety and gift shops. They had ground cover that nobody else had. They are very friendly and it is a good price. They are very knowledgeable. They have trees, shrubs and fountains. They have indoor and outdoor plants. We will continue to use them.

They were very professional and prompt, and they did a good cleanup. Also, they were very friendly!

The men came to weed and then mulch about 2 weeks ago. Today I am out spraying for weeds, and I mean big weeds that did not grow overnight. It appears that the mulch was put down with no other preventative pre-treatment - even though it was requested. The men also failed to mulch three of my trees so I guess I'll have to do it myself. Not happy with the companies response, record keeping or their work. (Record keeping - I did about 3K worth of work last year and when I called the lady could find no record of my prior transaction.)

I had talked to the sales rep a couple of times before the job was actually done. She was here for the estimate, then I was at her office to make the agreement, and she was back here to confirm area to be sodded before the job was done. I made an effort to be very involved with the process and the rep was more than willing to accommodate me. The scheduler called me to alert me to when they were planning to do the job and said he would call if there were any changes due to weather or whatever. It turned out that the job went off on schedule. The rep came out before the crew arrived the morning of the job. When the crew arrived, I was introduced to the crew foreman and we discussed some of my concerns. The three man crew did the job, they were professional, neat, cleaned up, finished by the end of the work day, and the rep came out at the end of the day to make sure everything was okay.
It could not have gone much better. As far as landscape companies go my initial impression is that this is a top-notch company. They are expensive, but you get what you pay for, and in this case I am satisfied. I would use them again.
One caveat is the slip seeded area has not germinated yet since it has not had time. I assume it will. If it does not, it is possible that I would have to modify this evaluation.

We contracted with Suncrest last year to maintain and mow our home and office properties. Although we were very specific about our pruning instructions (to the point of including specifics in our contract), the crew proceeded to trim all of our plants into little balls because they thought it would look nicer than how we'd requested it be done. They removed a number of plants without permission because they decided they didn't look good. The worst, however, was dumping mulch on all of my plants. I expected better, especially from a company that has such a good reputation. The owner did come out personally to inspect and try to remedy the damage, and he did give us a very small credit (about 1/6 of our monthly bill). Being on a lake, we also were very specific about limiting the use if chemicals, which I found out later were being used quite liberally on our properties. I would not recommend this company to anyone in the future.

They are very good.

Overall I am very pleased with the service that was provided by Suncrest Garden's. The only down-side to the experience was the initialresponse time. Once we had communicated and established what needed to be done the work was done on-schedule and very much to my liking. I will certainly use Suncrest in the future!

The Suncrest Gardens crew arrived and removed the old materials that were used for one of the existing planting beds. They worked off of a detailed drawing of our site so there were no surprises in terms of placement of new materials. They framed our new poured concrete patio with large pieces of sandstone and built two new beds out of sandstone. They excavated and installed a new brick sidewalk leading from our driveway, around the new poured concrete patio to the existing brick and sandstone patio. They also planted three large evergreen trees in this area.

The crew for Suncrest Gardens is top notch! They are all very friendly, clean and professional. Most of all, they are experts at what they do. Their attention to detail was incredible. They kept the work site tidy and at the end of each day cleaned up the driveway and put everything away. They communicated with me everyday so that I always knew what was going on that day and the next. I have total confidence in Suncrest Gardens and would not hesitate to use them again.

The original estimate took an extended time but they were polite and apologetic for not getting back to me right away. I asked for two separate estimates-- one for an overheight hedge and one for two ornamental trees and got one combined estimate. When I called they were able to clarify the breakdown but did not give much detail on the trimming which was to reduce the heights of all the trees/shrubs.

The work was scheduled far in advance because of their scheduling. They did come at the scheduled time and completed the work. I was not able to be on the property at the time they came which I did not foresee when originally scheduled but when I had a conflict given the long lag in getting them out I felt I could not reschedule. There were some clippings left behind but they generally cleaned up after their work.

The bill broke the two jobs down but if I had the estimates ahead of time and a better description of the work I probably would not have had one part of the job done. The hedge was fine but the the bushes they trimmed are still wildly different sizes and shapes. The heights were not significantly reduced and I don't think they were trimmed according to my goal of making them more the same size with regular trimming. This may be because they did not want to change the shapes and just trimmed them to be more shapely as they were, but that is not what I originally asked for. Give the expense of trimming which for those trees was more than I expected, I probably would be better off replacing the trees entirely as they are now getting too large relative to the spaces they are in and repeated trimming will be very costly to do..

I would be careful communicating with this company. The person you talk to arrange work is not the person who does the work and I never saw the estimator. The work done was fine but the back and forth and lack of direct communication was difficult.

We asked Suncrest Gardens to provide an estimate and design ideas to build a new walkway to the front of our house. We already owned all of the needed materials because we had purchased them when building a brick and sandstone patio in our backyard. We also wanted some planting beds and new trees. Jeff, their designer, came out and looked at our space and our materials. He provided a rendering of his ideas and a quote. I was very pleased that there was no guess work at all. When the installers arrived they were able to show me exactly where every element of the design would be based on Jeff's blueprint. The project had been well planned. The workers were friendly, polite and conscientious. The pride in their work showed. They worked efficiently and the job was completed as scheduled. They transformed the front of our house and did not exceed the quoted price.

I hired Suncrest Gardens to plant pine trees in my backyard around my patio area. Everyone working for Suncrest from the initial estimator/designer, the scheduler and the guys that arrived to plant my trees were incredibly friendly, knowledgable and professional. When the workers arrived to plant my trees they were conscientious about not damaging my yard or hardscaping in the area around the trees. Their attention to detail was right in line with my attention to detail. I could tell that they take pride in their work. They removed a dead tree, planted three pine trees and mulched the areas around the trees.

They were just great. They were very professional throughout the project. The price for them to come out and do the front and back was lower then some of the other companies to just do the front. Everything look beautiful. I have gotten compliments all summer.

It usually takes a full day to get the cleanup done. About three people come out to do it. They do excellent work.
