About us
North Branch Nursery covers over 300 acres featuring 290 varieties of trees and over 300 varieties of shrubs. We grow over 20,000 perennials each year and have approximately 75,000 plants in container production. North Branch Nursery also carries a wide variety of new and unique plants. In addition to growing trees, North Branch Nursery, Inc. offers a full service landscape design and installation division. The nursery employs approximately over 60 full time employees March through December.

The Garden Center at North Branch Nursery has a show room with Amish furniture, and shrubs available for sale. The designers can design and estimate your landscape project for our crews to install. Our landscape department installs all the plants we have for sale, and trees. The Garden Center also has a six acre display area for all the perennials, and water features., fertilizer and chemicals for roses, garden tools, gloves, paver and natural stone patios, retaining walls, shrubs, trees

The good: The plant material is good quality. We had only one tree die and it was replaced by North Branch after quite a bit of hassle. It is now one year old and the entire landscaping looks good and healthy.
The bad: The installers did not place the plant material where I indicated it should be placed and generally did not use common sense in the placement of the materials. For example, we purchased 7 spruce to provide a screen between our yard and our neighbors. They put the smallest tree right in the middle, where the most screening was required. Additionally, they did not place the trees where I had indicated, but moved them forward into the lawn. I was not able to supervise the entire time. When I was supervising I felt like I was treated with a bit of distain. I had just spent $6,900 on landscape, seems like I would be treated with a bit of respect.
