Lawn Jon

This is the second year that I am using Lawnjon Ground Care.  I had called about a month prior and talked with the the owner, Jonathan Frailey, and told him to put me on the schedule.  His worker came about a month later.  The worker was nice and easy to talk to.  The aeration machine he used was the type where he could stand on it and ride along while operating it.  I believe you get better results from this type because the operator does not have to fight the bulky weight of the old style aerator.  The worker pointed out to me a spot where grubs were present.  I was appreciative of this and will generously re-seed the dead grass area.  Lastly the worker cleaned my sidewalk area with a leaf blower to blow away the core plugs strewn by the aeration.  It was a good job for a good price.

I called (740-927-7936 office or 614-975-2322 cellphone) to make an appointment and spoke with Jon the owner.  He was very nice and informative.  His employee came at the designated time and did a good job.  The aeration machine used was where the operator rode the machine standing up and behind.  I thought this gave a more thorough job concerning coverage versus a walk from behind machine or a tractor pulled machine.  He did the overseeding using the same machine.  The employee afterwards used a blower to rid my sidewalk of the dirt plugs from the aeration.  The employee was very courteous.  The aeration was $65, which was a little higher then others charged but I thought the machine used gave better results.  The overseeding was $15 and was a mix of tall fescue and blue grass.  This was a good price.
