I was impressed with Jim's professionalism. He came as scheduled, knew exactly what needed done, had all necessary materials, and cleaned up after himself when completed in a timely manner. 
He had to separate an outside GFI outlet into two separate outlets... each with its own circuit breaker in the service box. He had to bring it into the basement through existing conduit and get it to  the service box.

Jim called back promptly, arrived on time for both the quote and the installation. He worked under the deck to hook up the tub without complaint.
He did a good professional job and I would recommend him and also make use of his services again.

Jim came out and got to work right away and rewired my whole basement in about 1.5 days. He had his work cut out for him as whoever the previous owner's of my house had hired to do it left little to be desired. Anyway, he cleaned up the mess of wires, made sure everything was up to code and installed new outlets and a house-wide surge protecter. Super friendly and hard working guy. I would definitely hire him again for future projects.

Very happy with Jim's work. So much in fact that I will be using him again for a future larger project.

I called Jim a few days before Thanksgiving to get an estimate on installing a light above our kitchen sink. He called me back promptly the next morning and scheduled an appointment to come out the next day and give us an estimate. He was very prompt and called to let us know he was on the way. He gave us a very competitive estimate and even offered to come out the day after Thanksgiving to complete the job for us after he finished with another client in our area. The day of the job, Jim showed up on time and went right to work. He installed the light for us and installed a wall switch as well. The finished product looks wonderful and he completed it on time and at the price he quoted. He is very friendly and I would recommend him to anyone needing electrical work done in their home.

Jim was great to work with. This was the second time he did work on our house -- but all of my ratings apply to both visits.
For the first visit in early spring 2012, he did some re-wiring, altered some switched outlets, and routed a TV antenna line from the basement to my living room. He worked closely with me to get done what we wanted given the limits of a very old house. The work was done well, on time, and for the price he gave in his estimate (~$700)
The second time he did work for us was after a major storm that knocked down a large tree in our yard that ripped our meter of the house. With nearly a million people in OH without power and lines down all over, I figured getting electrical work done in a time way would be impossible. I called Jim on Sunday, and he showed up and got the meter fixed by Monday morning!
I would definitely hire Jim again and would recommend him highly.

Jim was punctual and professional. We reviewed what we had discussed on the telephone in regards to what he would complete on this particular day. He was extremely careful with the chandelier, knew the proper height that it should be hung based on ceiling height and moved the furniture as needed. He encountered no problems along the way which is always a possibility with a house on the historic registry. He worked with a partner, Chris, on this project and both worked well together. The ceiling fan installation was quick and looked wonderful...a tutorial accompanied the installation. Old switch plates were also quickly replaced with new ones and the work was complete. I recently moved into this house and have many projects on the "to do" list . I would not hesitate to call Jim again when I need more electrical expertise. I was very happy with the work, the knowledge and the professionalism .

The overall experience was great. Jim showed up about 5 minutes early and got started. He drilled a few holes, ran about 50 ft. of wire, added a breaker and rewired the panel, installed new outlets, and finished in about 1.5 hours. I thought the price at $130.00 was a great deal. I will be sure to use him again in the future if I need any other electrical service.

He is very good and professional. His prices are extremely reasonable. He points out at any problems that may be there . He gives you a multitude of options. He tells you what’s the best one and the worst one. I trust him 100%. I wouldn’t work with any other electrician after working with him. He is marvelous and first class. He is always on time. He is extremely neat and clean. He is easy to work with. If he ever runs late, then he calls you right away to inform you. I would tell people to hire him to get their work done. I will use him in the future too.

We had received an appliance that required a 220v outlet. I called Jim late yesterday afternoon and he rearranged his schedule to come out the first of the morning. He arrived as planned and immediately set to work. He had ran wire, installed the circuit breaker, cut the hole in the wall, attached the outlet, tested the line, cleaned up, and had us up and running within 2 hours (possibly less). He is a professional that prides himself on doing quality work and having a satisfied cutomer

ONE THING IN PARTICULAR I LIKED WAS THAT HE DOES SMALL JOBS. IT EVEN SAYS SO ON HIS BUSINESS CARD. HE WAS NEAT AND PUT EVERYTHING AWAY WHEN HE WAS FINISHED. HE HAD TO MAKE TWO TRIPS AND WE HAD NO PROBLEMS AT ALL.
