Everything went great. Tovah came up with a beautiful landscaping plan and Bernie got everything planted professionally and on time. They also gave me some great tips for maintaining the plants. I will definitely use them again next year when I tackle the back yard!

Garden Partners did an excellent job of informing us what was required and making plant recommendations. They were prompt in their work and kept us apprised of where they were at in the project. They also answered many landscaping/lawn questions unrelated to the project. The owner, Bernie was very knowledgeable and knew his business. His Daughter is a landscape designer and gave us a free landscape design plan. I had three landscapers give me a project cost and Garden Partners was half of the cost of the next lowest bidder. I would strongly recommend their services.

From the first phone call to the final visit, everything was delightful! After twenty years and various attempts to decide on what to plant where and struggling to edge the borders, I called in the experts. My goal was to have a beautiful, manageable garden. Bernie and Tovah nailed it! Tovah’s creative plans opened my eyes to options that I was unaware of and I love. Based on pictures of what I liked, she gathered what my preferences were and duplicated them in my yard. Tovah and Bernie were patient with all my questions about plants, mulch, and even our firewood rack. Also Bernie willingly shares his wealth of knowledge to teach you how to care for your new plants. They were honest in sharing what plants would work and which would be difficult to maintain. They willingly incorporated plants I already had into the new plans. Their artistic talent, knowledge, and labor created a beautiful space in my world. Looking forward to seeing them in the spring.

Excellent work and Bernie is a pleasure to work with. You can tell that he really enjoys his work and cares about the plants. His daughter was in the background with design and together with our input they have created a wonderful plan for all seasons. Highly recomend these folks.

Tovah prepared a plan utilizing plants with different heights and textures so we knew what to expect. They told us about some unusual varieties that I would not have know about. They knocked it out in one day and it looks great. Family run business with daughter and dad. Nice people to work with.

We were blown away by Bernie and Tovah's professionalism, expertise, and overall knowledge. Not only did they provide to us a computer-based drawing of the layout they planned for our entire yard (front, back, and sides), they provided pictures and detailed info on what bloomed when, etc. In addition, they offered us the option of a "planting party" - where we were able to work beside them as they did the plan installation - get our own hands dirty and ask a TON of questions. While they were completely willing to do this on their own - this option provided us with a less expensive installation cost, and the priceless opportunity to work next to experts to give us their thoughts and ideas on how to care for our investment for years to come, Bernie and Tovah will also come out in the Spring to help us prune, and ready the flower beds for the upcoming season. How amazing is that?! Overall an absolute pleasure to work with! We would recommend them to ANYONE!!

I have the best backyard in my neighborhood, Tovah and Bernard is Wonderful and Very Helpful!! They are really know what they doing! Thank you for giving me my very own one of the kind Oasis!! One time we had very bad storm, my gravels is ruin, dirt clay is all over my patio, i called Tovah, and she came immediately and fix my Oasis.. :D They are great people! so if anybody wants to have their very own one of the kind Oasis, you should contact Garden Partner LLC!

We had the shrubs pulled out by another Angie's List company, Trees Are My Business, so we started with a blank landscaping slate.  Based on the agreed design, Bernie and Tovah sourced the plants at local growers and the plants arrived healthy and full. Then they came in and planted everything following the design.  Even though it is fall, it all look wonderful and will only look better next spring/summer/fall.
It is obvious that the daughter/father team of Tovah and Bernie love plants and really know what works in this area.  We had moved from the gardening zone 7 and weren't quite sure what would grow the best here and they were a wealth of knowledge and good ideas.  They are coming back in a couple of weeks to plant bulbs so it will be something to look forward to in the early spring. 
The pricing is based on the actual acquisition price of the plants plus their labor.  Having been a gardener for decades, I thought the plant pricing was very fair.  It was a large job and we are retired and couldn't have done everything that they did.  When they finished they gave us instructions on watering etc.  Plus, they will be back next spring to trim and prune and review everything with us.  
Our neighbor had used Garden Partners previously and their house looks beautiful.  We are looking forward to seeing everything grow and bloom.  I am thrilled!!!

Overall, they did a good job.  When we were selecting a company, Bernie brought photos of suggested plants and did a good job explaining the process.  Looks like all the plants have survived so far.  Would use them again.

This big of a project had me nervous at times but they were both very patient in explaining and answering questions.   Most importantly, they were very educated & knowledgeable about plant recommendations and were up-to-date on latest horticultural studies.  These folks know what they are doing!!!  They honestly explained why some plants I had hoped to see in certain spots, would not perform well after the first year or two.  They could have totally sold me something I wanted even though the plants would be a poor choice.  This speaks volumes to me regarding their integrity as a company.  Additionally, they did not oversell us rather showed us ways to retain some of our existing bushes but incorporate some fresh additions around them.   Their ideas were high in creativity but not at the expensive of practicality & longevity.  
Bernie's & Tovah's  extensive knowledge, experience & artistry provided the visual Wow factor for our yard we were hoping for.  
Their friendliness, honesty & dependability made the experience very fun & enjoyable.  I have NO negatives to report on this company.   (BTW, we had never met them prior to our job, so we had no familiarity or previous contact to bias our judgement in this review)  Garden Partners is Top Notch all around.  We really hope to have them return in the future to do some other projects for us.

Bernie and Tovah are fabulous! We moved into a house with a large, practically empty back yard sloping down to a wooded nature preserve. We wanted a yard that would be attractive and somewhat cultivated, but blend with the natural woods behind. They also had to cope with a muddy slope, the fact that we didn't want a lawn (allergies), and the frequent appearance of deer (we didn't want to fence off the nature preserve). But Bernie and Tovah coped with all of these constraints and gave us the landscape of our dreams.
Tovah made a plan that is itself a work of art--we plan to frame it to keep inside our house. We were amazed at the variety of plants, the interplay of colors, the way she planned for all four seasons, and how carefully she responded to our needs.
Then she and Bernie scouted out the appropriate plants and did all the planting for us. As noted above, this was a large yard, so the planting took almost three days. But the two of them worked so diligently and conscientiously; we were impressed by how quickly the garden took shape.
Best of all, Bernie and Tovah really care about the garden's future. They helped us (garden newbies) learn how to care for the plants and they will back in the spring to show us the next steps. They guarantee all of their plants for a year.
I want to stress that, in addition to all of their superb work, Garden Partners has very reasonable prices. They designed and planted a very large yard for us. We had far higher estimates for this work from other companies--and wouldn't have gotten such a wonderful result.
We literally enjoy this landscape every day and remark on how much Tovah and Bernie's garden has added to our lives. Can't wait until spring to see the blooms then!

Great Job!!!  Our front landscaping had become overgrown with bad landscaping that had been done when our house was built. The builder had put in bushes that were designed to be used as hedge bushes and not the front of a house. I spend alot of time doint trimming and upkeep.
Tovah and Bernard came out looked at the area and designed new landscaping that would add a lot of color to the front of the house through 3 seasons and require minimal upkeep. Before doing the job they brought us a plan and pictures of each of the plants they would be using so we would know what each plant would look like and when each plant would provide colorful blooms.

Tovah and Bernie were great to work with.  We were looking for a smaller landscape design company that allowed us to have a large sweat equity stake in our landscape design and installation, as well as had relationships with local nurseries and who could buy plants at good prices.  My wife and I love to plant and needed a partner who could make recommendations but yet incorporate our ideas.   Garden Partners was the perfect compliment to our needs and desires as it relates to landscape. 
Bernie and Tovah were very responsive and went out of their way to find the plants we wanted and help us install them.   If you are looking for a family run business who is dedicated to you as a customer and allows you to participate in design and installation as much as you would like, then this is your company.

We decided to replace the tree and shrubbery in the two garden areas in the front of our home. We obtained three estimates and chose Garden Partners as the most responsive and least cost contractor. Bernie was very good at listening to us about wanting a colorful yet easy to maintain garden area. He took photos and offered many suggestions. As part of their no cost estimating process, his daughter, Tovah, prepared a colorful blueprint of their proposed landscaping solution including pictures of all recommended  plants (including how they look in bloom and in the fall) coded to the drawing. No other contractor provided this very helpful and personalized service.
Bernie and Tovah expertly planted all of the plants. They were able to procure the plants at lesser prices than estimated and passed the savings to us.
Bernie returned on two occassions a week and two afterward to check on the health of the new plants. They will return in the spring to do the spring pruning and will replace any plants that don't survive the winter at no additional cost.
We are very pleased with their excellent service, great attention to detail, and expert knowledge.

I am thrilled with my pond installation.  The company listened to what I wanted, suggested different options, and built the pond to my specifications.  The individuals were professional, courteous, and easy to work with.  I am so happy with the installation, the company will be doing additional work for me shortly.  I highly recommend them for anyone wishing to do a pond installation or any other landscaping.

They've been working with us now for about two years and we've been changing various types of our landscaping around our house and their department always comes out and they gave us an idea and we take a look at it. We discuss it, modify it if there's something if we didn't agree with or preferred then they do the work and we've been really, really pleased with them,

We live on a corner lot with lots of traffic.  When we moved here nine years ago we installed a 40 x 15 garden at the front corner of our lot, hoping to show off our gardening skills to the neighborhood.  We tried to design and install several perennial plans on our own and all were a miserable failure.  We needed help and finally turned to Angie's List.   Garden Partners was the second company to come out.  Both Bernie and Tovah visited our miserable pile of dirt, and though we were not very helpful providing details on what we wanted,  a week or so later Tovah stopped by with her design.  Her drawing and additional pictures of several perennials she chose was so helpful in visualizing what it would look like.  She suggested roses and junipers.  I've never been able to grow roses sucessufully and have never cared for juniper but her knowledge and expertise convinced me to move forward with the plan. 
Wow, we love our new garden.  Bernie and Tovah arrived on schedule with a truckload of beautiful, healthy plants.  They were efficient and knowledgeable and helped us to understand what was going in the ground and how to care for each plant.  Bernie even watered the garden for us.  They will also come out in the fall to guide us through our first garden clean up.  What a great service.
We highly recommend Bernie and Tovah for your design and installation needs.  Both were professional, very knowledgeable and fun to work with.  Communication was easy, and for me mostly via e-mail.  They worked around our schedule AND within our budget.  Now, we have the most beautiful garden in the neighborhood!!  Thanks Bernie and Tovah for years of enjoyment.

Bernie at Garden Partners has been maintaining the landscaping at our property in Pataskala for the past 10 months while it has been on the market and we have not been living there.  He has worked from my general directions over the phone and by e-mail, determining what was needed and carrying it out.  His charges and the prices we've paid for materials have been very, very reasonable.  The listing realtor has been very satisfied with his results, as have I.
The first outfit we hired to work on the landscaping charged us an arm and leg and destroyed many very expensive plantings, leaving junk, claiming they only did what the realtor instructed.  Bernie was a great improvement.  It isn't everyone you can trust to do a good job without supervision

Bernie and Tovah were very easy to talk to and met our expectations of planting very colorful selection of flowers. They came out to take pictures of the yard. Then came back with the design and discussed in detail the type of plants, color and the sesons.  We loved what they showed us and gave them the go ahead. The job was done ON TIME and looks great. They said no problem to call if we had questions and they would follow up for a year to make sure things are coming along OK.
I am sure they will keep up the good work to check things out next year.
