CHRIS STARTED BUILDING OUR HOUSE OVER A MONTH LATE. WHAT WAS STATED IN OUR CONTRACT TO BE A SIX MONTH JOB TURNED OUT TO BE A NINE MONTH JOB. AND WE ARE STILL WAITING ON SOME MINOR REPAIRS AND OTHER SMALL ITEMS (EXAMPLE - SCREENS TO BE REPLACED WHEN THE DRYWALLERS PUT LARGE HOLES IN THEM WHILE WORKING). CHRIS ADMITTED TO MY HUSBAND AND I THAT HE DID NOT DEAL WELL WITH WOMEN. DUE TO FLEXIBILITIES IN OUR JOBS, I WAS THE ONE TO CONTACT CHRIS WHEN WE HAD QUESTIONS OR WANTED TO KNOW DATES OF COMPLETION. CHRIS WOULD NOT TALK TO ME, BUT WOULD CALL MY HUSBAND AFTER I LEFT HIM A VOICEMAIL TO RETURN MY CALL. HE PROFESSED TO KNOW HOW TO DO EVERYTHING WE ASKED, INCLUDING INSTALLATION OF A GLASS BLOCK WINDOW AND A SET OF EXTERIOR FRENCH DOORS, BUT MY HUSBAND AND HIS CONTRACTOR FRIENDS INSTALLED BOTH. OVERALL WE ARE VERY SATISFIED WITH OUR HOUSE. BUT I WOULD NOT USE HIM AGAIN OR RECOMMEND HIM DUE TO THE MAJOR DIFFICULTIES WE EXPERIENCED. HE WAS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL IN MANY SITUATIONS.
Description of Work: CUSTOM BUILT A HOME ON OUR LOT. DID SOME OF THE INITIAL PERMIT WORK, BUT I DID THE MAJORITY OF IT. DID RECOMMEND A DESIGNER TO DESIGN THE BLUEPRINT FOR OUR HOUSE.
