CathClean has just cleaned my house once, so I can only review the first service. I will offer an honest and detailed review, so as be helpful for people considering hiring this company. First, Cathlene was very quick and responsive when I inquired for information and scheduled the first cleaning. She gave me a quote of $150 for the first cleaning ($100 bimonthly, $150 monthly) based on information I provided, and did not actually come to the house first. We mainly communicated over text, and she was able to come on a few days notice, after another cleaner flaked out. The team, consisting of her and one other person (Anthony?) were a bit late due to traffic, but she called me to let me know, so I appreciated that. She had a look around and said it should be quicker and possibly cheaper than what she quoted me. In the end, the cleaning took longer than expected, as there was a lot of dust in my house, and the work cost more than what was quoted ($180). So if you need an absolutely accurate quote, I'd suggest insisting that she come to the house first (this was not a big deal for me, though). Overall, they did a great job. I was especially pleased with the bathrooms and hardwood floors. Certain areas that are easier to neglect didn't get as much attention (such as baseboards, doors, sliding door track, under the furniture), but I think this was due to the fact that this was the first visit and there was so much dust and other cleaning to do. I expect that in the next cleaning, she'll be able to attend to things she wasn't able to the first time. Cathlene did say that if there were certain things I wanted her to focus on the next time to let her know. I would say that if you have very exact needs, to communicate them to her right away, as she seems very receptive and professional about wanting to do a good job. In short, I like CathClean very much from my first experience, and found Cathlene and her team to be friendly, professional, and hard working. I am definitely hiring them again.

They were good. They went all over the house when I didn't expect them to do that but it was not just what I thought I was purchasing. I wanted my kitchen scrubbed down and the only thing they did was just mop over it lightly, so I'm going to have to call somebody else to come in and do a thorough scrubbing. They did light house keeping and I really signed up for them to scrub the kitchen floor. They weren't thorough to me. We were going back and forth and then they finally came and we were missing each other. I would send and an email and they wouldn't respond until about two or three days later. They were a little late because they went to the wrong house.

They were timely, fast and did a great job.

Cathlene and Andy arrived at my doorstep with quiet unassuming demeanors.  I had met with larger cleaning companies prior to talking to them  and actually had previously hired one of those companies  The larger company promised me the end all in cleaning, but could not promise me that the same 2 people would be coming into my home with each visit.  Therefore, even though initially meeting with the principal and lead cleaner, who took notes on the particulars of my home and listened intently to what my needs and priorities were, with each passing visit different people began arriving with full access and knowledge of how to enter my home and disarming my security system.  I'm a working person, so I wouldnt even know who they were or know their names.  Additionally, with each new person it was like starting over as they had no idea of what I initially had discussed during that first visit.  I don't know about anyone else, but I found it a bit disconcerting that so many people who I had never met were accessing my home regularly.  Not only did the cleaning become inconsistent, but it truly just made me feel a bit uneasy.
That being said, I saw Cathlene's listing on Angies List and gave her a call along with a few other calls I made to smaller cleaning operations.  When all was said and done, I went with her.  Why?  I'm not quite sure.  It could have  she arrived in a car with her own signage clearly displayed, or the fact that she offered up immediately that she was insured, or maybe just because of her big soulful eyes .  Who knows.  But I can say this, for whatever reason I'm glad I did.  Once unleashed inside my home they were like a well oiled machine.  A virtual white tornado of energetic cleaning power going through my house with precision, attention to detail and efficiency.  They bring all their own supplies so I don't have to worry and check to make sure I'm stocked up on my end.  I have 3 floors in my home, and I primarily live on the main floor, so we decided that cleaning would consist of a thorough cleaning of the main floor each visit, alternating the upstairs loft area and finished basement every other visit.  It works out very well and keeps my cost where I need it to be.  Cathlene and Andy are prompt, professional and very accommodating to any additional request I might make.  Each visit consist of washing all my wood and tile floors, thoroughly cleaning my kitchen (they romove everything from the counter tops when they clean).  Thoroughly cleaning my 2.5 to 3.5 baths depending what visit they're on. Vacuuming all upholstery (I have 4 cats and 2 dogs) and carpeted areas along with 2 full sets of steps each visit. (all while the dogs bark and nip away at the vacuum like the hooligans they are)!  Wiping down switchplates, mirrors and smudges on windows that they might see,  along with wiping all windowsills. Dusting or wiping down all furniture and decor items and additionally they change my bed linens, which is a chore I absolutely try to avoid at all cost.  (2 down comforters, a bed ensemble along with 13 pillows.)  Yeah, I know... I'm one of those nuts!  I work in the photography industry so staging is important to me.  When I come home, after they've been there, pillows aren't thrown about haphazardly on my chairs, sofas and beds.  They are neatly puffed and placed.  All decor items are in their proper place.  The house smells clean and sparkles in all the right places.  In other words, they pay attention.  They are proud of the work they do and it shows.  I am very happy with their approach and the way she manages her business.  Where others said that on a scale of 1 to 10 they were a 10, Cathlene and Andy's work do the talking for them.  I pay for a clean house every two weeks, and that's exactly what I get!  They are definitely worth a try if you're looking to try someone new or for the first time.  When I think of Cathclean, Integrity, honesty and pride in a job well done is what comes to my mind.  It's a win-win for me.

It went very well. They did a good job. I'll probably have them back out at some point. We were satisfied with them. They came in, got the job done and did what they were supposed to do. They were on time. The price was good. They took a long time to get out here. That was the only thing because I think they're just so busy. I would like to have gotten them a little sooner but unfortunately they were unavailable. Their availability is a little bit limited. That was the only thing that kind of held me back.

They did a thorough job.  The work needed was more that could be accomplished in the alloted time.

There should be an A+++ rating for CathClean. They were professional and very hard-working. We were very happy with the quality of the work they did and will definitely be using their services again.

I contacted Cathleen about the 4 hours for $200 deal on Angie's list.  She asked me not to buy the voucher and to pay her cash.  This should have been a warning to me.  I explained in detail that I have 2 dogs and recent construction.  I gave her the size and room number of the job.  I asked her if she thought 4 hours would be long enough.  She agreed and we scheduled for 2 days later.  I was happy to get it scheduled so quickly, but again, that should have been a red flag.  She showed up on time, but brought her boyfriend with her to clean.  They were good about specific jobs I pointed out, but overall it was a poor job.  They didn't move things to dust or mop.  After they left I found that nothing on the kitchen counter top had been moved or cleaned under.  When I contacted her, she said it was not her job to move stuff.  I've had two other cleaning services in the past and I should have stuck with them because they always moved stuff, cleaned, and then replaced it.  I thought this was how it worked.  Unfortunately these two companies are in high demand and I have to schedule way in advance with them.  I needed someone quick for this job.  After 2 and a half hours, they claimed to be finished stating that they actually gave me an extra hour because if two people work, I only get 2 hours.  I also had to pay $20 extra for them to clean the insides of windows in two rooms and $10 extra to wipe the inside of my microwave.  Both of these items had always been included with the other companies I worked with.  When I emailed Cathleen about my concerns I received an extremely rude response.

It went well. A family relative had been in the hospital for a medical crisis and I hadn't been able to  clean like I would on my own. Both Cathy and her helper would nice and hardworking. They tolerated my dog who if not for the recovering person would have been left with them instead of making lots of noise at my house. I would defiantly use them again. Nice to have clean house for my new tenants.

After 2 last minute cancellations due to unexpected car troubles, Cathy worked to resolve the issue by coming to my home on a Saturday - her normal day off. She arrived precisely on time and worked efficiently and non-intrusively to get the work done. The house smelled and looked fresh and clean when she left. Her B rating on quality is really more due to the fact that it was a first cleaning on a home that desperately needed it. I believe on a regular 2 week schedule with maintenance, it would be an A rating.

Cathy demonstrated professionalism, quality, and a desire to do best by her client.
