The workers were very prompt, very courteous, and very efficient. The job turned out great. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome.

John arrived on time on the day of the appointment, did the work requested, cleaned up after himself and collected the payment without any problems. In addition, he informed me of the general condition of my roof and even replaced some missing caulk at no extra charge. I was extremely satisfied with the service of Barbera Home Improvement and would not hesitate to hire them again.

We were referred to this company by friends as having done good roofing work. Scheduled with Barbera to come to our house for a quotation and to be there with our insurance adjuster. Nobody ever showed up that day and never we received a phone call, etc. We selected another roofing company that was very reputable and were there when they said they would be.

We have used John Barbera and his crew two times now. We used them for our rental property and now our own home. We would recommend them to anyone who is looking to have quality workmanship completed. We know there are lower priced companies out there but we feel John will stand behind their work. Clean up was very good after the job was completed. Copper portion of roof looks better than what we had before the hail storm. Very professional and team who came out to do the work completed the job in only two days where our neighbors who had roof tear offs had crews at their homes for 4-6 days. Our roof has a number of angles and pitch is steep so not your run of the mill job.

Crew did and excellant job. Foreman took the time to explain what everyone was doing Crew covered my shurbs and floweres . No damage at all . My yard was left spotless.I'm looking in the future to do siding and would not hesitate to call Barbera roofing

Did not perform the job I was looking to do (small flat roof), but had the courtesy to call back and let me know that, which is good old customer service which you do not get from everyone. Thus if the company is helpful with people that they cannot do a job for, I am guessing they would be good where they could do it.

They were excellent. They did everything that they said they were going to do and their price was right.

The roofers arrived on time. It was a large crew and they completed all but a small portion in one day. There were some unexpected existing siding issues with our home, for example, occasionally as the roofers would remove siding trim to lay roofing, they would find that pieces of siding had never been tacked down and they would just slide out of place. It was difficult for the roofers to put them back in place. John Barbera, the owner, visited our home and sent a siding crew to put things back in place. In the end, it looked great and we are quite pleased. We are especially grateful to John Barbera for his continued committment to good customer service. He was very patient and generous. The roofers should also be commended for taking great pride in their work.

Overall it was a small job but John was very quick to get back to my inquiries and did the job within a week of my contacting him. He advised me on some problem areas on my roof and recommended somebody to work on my chimeny. He even checked my dryer vent for lintbuild up! I would feel very confident in hiring him for a more extensive roof repair (which will probably be within the next 5-10 years!)

They did everything in one day and they were gone by 5 o'clock. They did an excellent job cleaning up and the roof looks excellent. They were very prompt.

I'm very happy with the job. It looks beautiful. It is an excellent job as far as I can tell. The gutters were actually made on site, and I thought that was pretty cool! Because there was snow on the ground they weren't able to go around and pick up the nails and small pieces of the old gutter. I wasn't expecting them to not be able to clean these things up.

They gave an excellent price! I compared to three or four other companies and they were the best. The work was done quickly. John, who was in charge, was very respectful of me and my wishes. He was very helpful in helping me pick out my roof. He also checked up on his work crews several times throughout the job. I would go back to them again!

Very professional and responsive. Spent time explaining his recommendation for installing cables. We would certainly recommend and would use again.

They did good. They did what I asked them to do. They told me there was mold. They told me there would have to be a tear off. i found out I could spray it with bleach to take care of the problem.

My overall experience with this company was good. John's estimate was exactly what he charged, even when the job was a little bit more complex then he originally thought. Due to the weather, mostly rain, it did take a few more days then I would of liked...however the quality of work was worth the wait. I will be using this company again for some of my other home owners needs.

Owner did sales call and provided estimates on the spot. Carefully reviewed all parts of job. Was able to answer all questions thoroughly and expertly. Prices were competitive. The crew worked efficiently and finished the entire job, roofing, vents, insulation, and gutter gurards in one day. Foremen were courteous and crew did a good job cleaning up.

I was ready to sign the contract. John (owner?) seemed professional at first... until I spoke with him on the phone about the down payment. I found that there were all kinds of hidden costs and couldn't trust that the estimate was going to be true to price. After expresing my concerns he became arrogant and cocky and didn't seem willing to work with me at all. It certainly wasn't worth the risk.

We had some damage on the sides of the house from strong winds. We called 3 different places but Barbera was the only one to return our call. John (the owner) was by to check out the damage that same day and provided a quote. Two days later, he had 2 of his men come to the house and do the work. The men did an excellent job, were courteous, stayed until 7 that night to finish the job and cleaned up all debris. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing work done on their home.

Two problems need correction. Air circulation and nonfunctioning exhausst fan in attic and wet bricks on one outside wall of house. John suggested possible causes for these problems and ways to correct them. He gave me an estimate for replacing the fan and correcting the airflow in the attic. He also gave an estimate for replacing the front section of the roof, including ice guard. His suggestions seem very reasonable but I want to have another estimate before doing any work. The estimate was $495.00.

They did good work but I was not sure if the workers were authorized to work. I am satisfied with their work. They did clean up after they were done.

They were excellent. I was so impressed because the owner came and checked the job when it was completed. They were prompt and professional. We didn't have any problems.

John is a very nice, personable man and stands behind his work. He is very responsive, trustworthy and I would highly recommend him.

They did the job all in one day like they said they would. They came right on time. The quality of the work is good as far as I know. I would recommend them.

I hired these contractors; Angie s List gave me really good grades for them. They did a good job on the roof, but I thought that my price was the whole thing, but now I come to find out that it is just for the roof on the house and the garage.

While I didn't end up using them (lost my job right after I got the quote), they were prompt in returning my call and setting/arriving at appt. for quote, professional and thorough in providing the estimate and even followed up with a thank you note in the mail, thanking me for the opportunity to provide me a quote. I'll definitely give them my business once working again.
