The job went well and it looks good. However, there were some issues and they corrected one of the two big issues. The last one is still outstanding. The owner was very responsive to our phone calls initially, but once we committed to them to do the roof, he was very nonresponsive. The crew was good and worked really hard, but John never showed up at the work site and I haven't seen him since we signed the papers. However, his price was very fair and the quality of the work was very good.

I was quite satisfied with the sales man/estimator Doug. He explained the different shingles that Barbara Home Improvement had to offer. He answered all of my questions. The crew arrived on time around seven thirty in morning. I was not able to watch the whole day, but, I left work early. When I arrived at 2:30 the roof was almost finished. I was able to watch them put the upper roof shingles on. Their clean up was excellent. All the debris was thrown in a trailer. They use a magnet sweeper and picked up all the metal debris that was in my yard.

The crew from Barbera was quick efficient and professional. When it was noticed that the leading edge of the shingles were trimmed a little oddly, John Barbera came out to inspect and resolve the issue himself. A real test of a company is not simply the work they do but how they resolve issues that may arise. I could not be happier with how the work turned out and the extent they went to to make sure we were happy with our new roof.

Everything went well, I was surprised at how bad my roof was, double tear off. They were very careful with the landscaping and my fence. Everything was covered and cleaned up before leaving. They went over my yard several times with the magnet to get the nails. I thought they might quit since it was snowing part of the day but they continued on.

He showed up the day after I called him, did the job, and suggested I have the chimney repaired.

Barbera Home improvement came out and gave me an estimate for the roof and gutters. I also asked about more insulation in the attic but the salesmen measured and said we had plenty which was honest. The estimate was $1000s cheaper than 2 other bids and they didn't try and sell me on anything I didn't need. When their crew came out they finished the whole roof in one day (3700 sq. feet of roof I think) and the gutters were finished the next day. The whole process of tearing off the roof was very messy and they did an okay job of keeping the mess out of the flower beds etc. After they were done, they did a good job of cleaning up and I only found a few nails after they left which I am assuming it is almost impossible to get all of them. We only had one problem that included some marks where the previous roof had been that marked up a small part of the siding (not Barbera's fault just a bad job by the roofer who put on the roof 20 years ago). We mentioned to the owner if anything could be done. He came out himself within two days and fixed the issue for a small fee. Overall, good customer service and good job. I would recommend them to others and would use them again.

I called Barbera and the roof was repaired the same day!!! Very responsive and the repairman was very courteous and explained what needed to be done and why the shingles came off in the first place (incorrect nailing positions). I will definitely call them when needed again and tell family and friends, also.

We were very impressed wtih the quick response and the ability to have our roof repaired so quickly! Mr. Barbera was able to diagnose our problem immediately and fixed exactly what was needed without trying to sell us other things we didn't need. We appreciate his honesty and punctuality!

We interviewed a variety of companies and after much deliberation we felt that Jon's price and professionalism was the best from who we spoke to. Jon worked with me on if we needed new gutters or if the old ones would be sufficient - and he was honest about what we could do, which I appreciated. Once the day came he arrive bright and early with his crew and stayed until the job was done. He did a great job of cleaning up all of the mess and was especially careful with our new driveway. He came back the next day to do a walk through and finish anything that needed to get done. Overall I was very pleased with his work and his professionalism.

Everything was great Not a long wait crew was on time. Polite cleaned everything up. I didn't leave a problem with anything

The barbera company was excellent. They spend a great deal of time during the initial interview to find out exactly what we wanted. The service people were very professional and did an excellent job.I would highly recommend them and would use them again .

They were prompt on arriving early and very professional in their work ethics.They made a big job unstresssful for a single woman homeowner.Called back two days later for some minor problems they wre out within an hour to fix and stayed until I was satisfied.I was very impressed.This is an excellent roofing company.

The work was not completed due to our failure to negotiate an acceptable purchase of the home !

They were not noisy. They were very polite and cordial to us and each other. We gave them some snacks and they all said thank you. They were very kind and polite. They also did some caulking on one area near the roof. They did a great job.

Crew arrived early and started working right away. Finished my roof in one day. Considering how hot the day was, they only took a lunch break. Love my new roof, and wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

We were very pleased with the overall installation. The installation crew did a fantastic job, and they were able to complete the installation in just a little under 2 days. Very messy job, but managed to pick up most of the material. Barbera then scheduled the Gutters and Downspouts to be installed the following day. Overall, I would recommend them to everyone, and I was overwhelmend with the price based on the job.

Calls to set up an appointment for the estimate were returned promptly. Not only did they give me the lowest estimate, they were able complete the work in less than a week (from the estimate meeting). The initial tear-off day was very windy but they took extra care to clean up all debris and leave the gardens surrounding my house in good condition.

I was satisfied with everything. Several of my neighbors had used them and were very happy with them, so I used them as well.

Called for estimate & he came over same day, it was Friday. Went over all with us. His price was very fair. We signed & his crew came three days later, on Monday & installed our roof in 7 hrs. We had an Amish crew & we were very impressed with them & the work they did. They protected my solar lighting & cleaned up so well, never knew they were here. Our attic fan was a little loose, they brought it to our attention & tightened it down & took down for us our old, disconnected antenna , that was attached to the chimney,at no extra charge. We will be doing more home improvements & they will be first on our list to call !!!!

They did a great job. They were in and out in one day.

We were extremely happy. They were the only ones who called me back. He came over really quick for an estimate and I had a good vibe about them. He came in at less than what I thought it would be. I think his workmen were okay. They did damaged the gutters on the house, but John immediately replaced them cheerfully.

Timely response to phone call. good estimate. Prompt job scheduling. Efficient job completion & very good clean-up. Finished in 4 to 5 hours.

After I called they came out and did the job in a trolly manner.

Our experience with Barbera was a great one. We would use them again in the future - in matter of fact, they would be the first quote we would get. The only thing I would like to have seen is John check in with us at some point during or after the work. It would have been nice to know that he checked on the work himself.

The roof didn't leak in the rain-- just during the winter time--maybe because of the snow sitting on the roof. I won't really know how the roof holds up in the winter. So, look for an update! I was taken aback by this suggestion for adding this roofing product, but I'm hoping that holds up and really works to prevent leaking. I did mention to one of the workers that there was some caulking that needed to be done-- and I don't know if that message got relayed or not. I just haven't heard back about that particular issue. The other neat thing was that there was a gutter hook that had come loose, but they replaced it at no cost. My husband offered to pay additional for it, but he wouldn't take the money. They really went above and beyond on that. It looks very nice.
