I had used them a few years ago and was very pleased. Boy have they changed. They showed up on the wrong day. When I got home and discovered what they didn't do I tried to read them and left messages, but to no avail. I tried calling on my daughters phone and got through. Doug set a time and day to return when I could be there. He didn't show up. No follow up, no response to my calls. I was left with unfinished work and a lot of debris that I had to pick up.

I live next door to Lake Erie College. The college hired Zion to cut a dead tree hanging over my home. They were loud, obnoxious and destroyed my hedge on the property line. I went out and showed them the line, and the damage they were doing, they promised to clean up. They left, and left behind logs on my property that the college crew had to remove because they were too heavy for me to move.

Good , when I got home they were all done cleaned up

Owner quoted price for trimming of 6 trees and remove 2 trees supervisor came with crew and said 5 trees and 1 removed had to pay extra for the second tree removed plus they left a 3" diameter by 16' severed branch that was part of the original removal agreement in the tree placed calls and finally owner got on the phone yelled swore and hung up on me will NEVER hire or recommend them to my worst enemy let alone friends

Horrible Experience. Team very unprofessional, especially the owner. They removed 2 trees that were not requested to be removed. They talked customer into removing tree he did not want at this time. They did not grind stumps at time of service. After calls were ignored for weeks, finally showed up unannounced on a Saturday. Owner shows up at your house unexpectedly to intimidate you to giving him the money owed even though contract states otherwise. If you still decide to use them (BBB had d- rating) please get everything in writing as the price and story will change several times. Would never recommend them to anyone.

Company will "blitz" an area then move on. Contacted owner who sent out a salesman to quote a price. Contract written up stated tree removal and clean up would be $2,000.00. Stated trees would be climbed and sectioned down. Well the first tree they felled was just cut at the base and allowed to fall across my neighbors property. Luckily their sprinkler system was not damaged. I ran out to remind them they were to climb and section. They acted like they were never told this. The salesman and the owner were not present. The owner then showed up and was upset the salesman quoted such a low price.....that I was robbing him. He then asked where I wanted the wood stacked! I reminded him the agreement included clean up. He stated that included leaves and small branches. Hauling wood away was another $4oo.oo. Very deceptive company. Left ruts in my lawn. No safety helmets. Crew looked as if he just hired them off the street. Fowl language like you would not believe.  BEWARE and get EVERYTHING in writing!!!
