Rodriguez Yard Care

We had a huge tree fall during a major wind storm, blocking our driveway and our neighbors. I called Mr. Rodriguez, and he replied within 30 minutes scheduling to come out first thing in the morning at 0830. He arrived precisely on time, and the work he did was IMPECCABLE. The tree was removed and the yard looks beautiful, as if nothing happened. I will never use anyone else for our yard services.

The spring clean up was an entire crew, 5 or 6 men, including the owner. They were here about 3 hours or more and the yard looked beautiful when they were done. That cost was $220 for a one acre lot.  Since then I had them do weekly lawn maintenance at $40 per week. They were always here as promised and everything was trimmed and the patios and sidewalks cleaned with leaf blowers when they were done. On the downside....through the summer they were here and gone in less than 15 minutes. I thought that would even out when the leaves came down, but what I didn't know was they were done for the season as of the end of October. The grass was still growing and the  leaves were only about 1/3 of the way down by then, so now I'm paying someone else to do my lawn.

I thought that the owner, Santiago, and I were on the same page, in that they worked into November, but apparently we were not. I left 3 messages on their office phone and no one ever called back.

I thought there were two negative things about his service. He only does his billing in the last part of the month. I didn't get a bill until I kept hounding him for it. His quality of service is not all that great.

I have used Mr. Rodriquez and his crew for 7 years, since my husband passed away. They do my lawn every week, spring cleanup and mulching and trimming shrubs. The always do a fantastic job. They never leave tread marks, even when the yard is wet, and if the grass is clumping because of length or wetness, they blow every clump away. They also mow the lawn in a different direction each week.

.We have been using them for around a year. They are very prompt and if you want something else done, all you have to do is ask and they will do the service no problem. They are very respectful and professional.

We were given an acceptable window of time in which landscaper expected to complete the work. When they arrived they went right to work and it was completed within four to five hours.

It went very well overall. Mr. Rodriguez met with us on the property to find out what we wanted. Never having put in a new lawn and landscaping, we needed quite a bit of guidance, which he provided. His recommendations were very good, and his pricing was excellent. When we decided to use his services, he came back again to mark the areas for the trees and flower beds. He scheduled the job, and brought a hard working crew to install our yard, and they worked very efficiently to complete the job.

After the job was completed and paid for, we contacted Mr. Rodriguez several times with various questions and concerns. Each time he was very helpful, returning to our yard when needed to advise us and help us. When we discovered that one of the flowerbeds extended a little onto our neighbor’s property, he had a crew there the next day to correct the problem. When he came to check on a tree that we were concerned about, he noticed a low spot in the grass, and returned to add more soil and replant the grass in that area. He was always prompt, courteous, and professional. We plan to use Rodriguez Yard Care again when we are ready to plant more trees and add further improvements to our yard.
