I actually have had 2 bad experiences here.
The first time they broke my dip stick! Tried unsuccessfully to drill through the plastic top to get it out. Then sent me to one of the Mentor locations with the explanation that it's not all that far...everyone just think's it's far...OMG! The Mentor location by the mall got the broken one out, gave me a temp one that didn't fit so well, ordered a new one from the dealer while I was on the phone. Apologized for my bad experience, asked if it would be ok to call me tomorrow to let me know when the new one is and and if I could stop back tomorrow or any day there after to have the new one installed. He also reported the incident to the regional manager. He called as he said he would, the part was in, I dropped by after work, he showed me the new one...took out the temp one and installed the new. thanked me for my time and apologized again for the experience.
I was in a hurry about 6 months later, went there again this time they broke off a 4"x3" area of my hood. Now admittidly my car is a 2005 and getting rusty, but I was watching the guy was he went to open the hood up. He jearked the hood so hard his hand flew up over his head when the hood broke. No apology, no nothing...other than shaking his hand like it hurt, he didn't say a word to me about it When he was wrapping up w/me by going over all the service they'd done, I asked about my hood. He told me it was rusty and I should warn them the next time...OMG! There's not going to be a next time!! I thought about calling the regional manager and complaining, but I had other things going on in my life at that moment so I just let it go knowing I will NEVER stop there again! NEVER!
