Job went very well as expected (they serviced my parents’ dinosaur furnace for years even custom fabricating a part for them to make a repair), very knowledgeable and professional, furnace still running great after 7 years.

I have a Kish club membership, so once a year I pay for that and that gets my fall and spring.  That covers spring and fall routine maintenance except for extra stuff that has to get done like pay for filters and that kind of thing. You can tell I like Kish.  I've been using them for years and I'm very happy with them and they're reliable, efficient and they get the job done. The quality of service sticks out the most.

The technician looked at the outside coil and said it needed to be cleaned which was no surprise. He was reluctant to go in the attic because he didn't have a ladder tall enough. I setup one of mine but he still did not go into the attic to look at the air handler, ductwork, or filter. Instead he gave me an estimate of another $220 besides the initial $79 to clean the coil with my garden house and install a new air filter that I already had. The bill could be higher if more was needed such as refrigerant or parts. He wouldn't know until he completed the first two items. I paid him the $79 and told him to leave.

Turned out the machine worked when he got to my home, but he checked everything out thoroughly and gave me some good advice about how I could solve some other problems with my heating system. All and all from the person who first answered the phone to the serviceman who came to my home it was a very pleasant experience. I would highly recommend Kish Heating and Cooling.

The Technician called about 1 hour prior to arrival. He introduced himself at the time of arrival and asked where the the geothermal heating and airconditioning unit was located. The annual service/tuneup was approxiimately 2 hours (very detailed inspection). The Technician provided several good tips to use as a preventive measure to keep the geothermal heating and airconditioning unit operating efficienctly.
The overral price of the surface was the exact same price the Office Manager at Kish quoted.
I would highly recommend KISH for all my heating and airconditioning services.

We turned our AC on for the first time this year and after an hour our house was no cooler, so we turned it off thinking something was wrong with the system. Since our heating/cooling system was 14 years old and had never been serviced or checked we decided to find someone who could do that. We contacted this company based on reviews we had read on Angie's List. We had found two companies we felt we could deal with and Kish could come to our home earlier than the other one. The technician, Scott, arrived right on time, sat and talked with us about our concerns and the system we have before ever looking at the system itself. He then checked the thermostat, the outside condenser, and the two units (furnace and air conditioner) in the basement. He explained that the reason the air conditioner did not cool the house in the time we had it on was because it was removing the humidity first--and then would start cooling after the humidity was down. He drilled four small holes (which he later plugged) to check the temperature/humidity in the duct system, and he also made several suggestions about how our system could be improved. Scott was very knowledgeable and thorough; he was at our home for 2 1/2 hours. Since his visit our system has worked perfectly.

They are fantastic. They are very friendly, knowledgeable and timely. They are very clean and clean up after themselves. They finish the job and don't do it part way; they are great. Anything regarding it is taken care by them right away. It didn't cost me anything because it is still under warranty. If I forget they call me and make it a point to come out and service my system for me so I don't forget. They recharge everything like the filters and everything. There was a contractor who did a lot of remodeling in the house. They never finished and left a bunch of garbage in the front yard and the back yard so these guys while they were waiting for the system to charge up asked their boss if they could pick up all the trash in my yard and put it in their truck and take it back to dump it; which is what they did so they clean up after others as well. They are unbelievable.

They did a great job. I would recommend them for all jobs Large or small.

We have some house guests coming in this Saturday evening and our old water heater decided to blow out on us. A couple friendly technicians from Kish Heating and amp; Cooling (Josh and Bobby) were able to acquire a new water heater on a Saturday afternoon and have it here within an hour and a half of first contact. They were very careful not to track snow into my house and they cleaned up everything behind them. They were able to upgrade my old 30 gallon unit to a 40 gallon unit. My house was built in 1919 and so nothing in my house is standard. Josh and Bobby were able to fit my new hot water heater in without any problems. They price was a little higher than I expected, but its a weekend and they were very quick at coming out and replacing my water heater so I'm fine with that. I would recommend Kish Heating and amp; Cooling to anyone that needs heating and cooling service.

I had researched the Mitsubishi air conditioning units because they do not require air ducts and were energy efficient. Our new home had boiler heat therefore there weren't any ducts. I called four companies for estimates on traditional air handlers with ducts and that did the Mitsubishi units also. I asked for info on both and the cost of both. Salesmen from three companies provided very little info on the Mitsubishi units except to tell me they were very good and did heating also. Their estimates ranged from providing 3 to 5 units and the price along with price for traditional air conditioning with ducts. Bobby from Kish, asked me a lot of questions concerning the remodel, my goals and what I already knew. He made several suggestions concerning other things he saw which was greatly appreciated and returned several days later with an estimate. He explained the Mitsubishi units, how they worked, where he would put each unit and what size unit he would use in each area. Then he gave me the cost. He decided what size unit to use and where to locate them based on the size of my house, each room and angle the unit would face for best coverage in order to give me the best cooling and heat efficiency for the least cost. Bobby was the only one of the four companies to go to such depth in deciding the units and explaining them to me. He was honest and up front with me about cost and instillation. Bobby answered all my questions while Bob talked to my husband and answered his questions.
All the people that work at Kish are very professional and courteous. They wore booties in the house and laid runners down where they were going to walk and cleaned up after themselves. They were very nice and polite. Their instillation was fast and smooth.
The women in the office are very polite and pleasant to talk to. They are also very helpful.
I would recommend this company HIGHLY, they are very good.

Serviceman arrived in the time allotted and went right to work. Check not only check furnace made sure heat registers were in good condition. Change filter and batteries in thermostat

just moved to the area. Called same company the previous owner of home used. Very pleased. Kept house clean, did an excellent check. Advised me on how to use thermostat.

I would recommend them. They did a nice job. They showed up on time. They treated me with some understanding and talked to me as a person and not just as another customer. I like people like that. I like that they talked to me in the terms I could understand. They made me feel that I could trust them. I had a positive experience and their price was worth it.

They were quick to get the estimate to us. We have not yet made a decision for who we are going to use.
