While we worked with other those various builders and remodelers we have acted as a sponge and absorbed the good and bad practices of each company and now have incorporated those practices into our own company. Also, we have worked to establish policies and procedures within the everyday operation of our company to ensure that what we do is done efficiently. Our full service construction team specializes in servicing each client’s specific needs, from the first stage of design to the last paint stroke. Each project is assigned a lead carpenter to oversee your remodeling investment and manage every detail “On The Spot” to ensure 100% satisfaction. We offer the most competitive pricing for remodeling and maintenance services in the area as well as a staff that is totally dedicated to your experience and well being during the process. We have established relationships with our trade partners and suppliers to ensure the lowest price while delivering quality. When you invite JEMM Construction into your home we take that invitation very seriously and treat your home as if it were our own. At JEMM Construction we’re aware of how difficult it can be to trust someone to come into your home and make sometimes drastic changes. Our staff strives to make your remodeling project a pleasant experience, not a stressful one. We would rather be invited back into your home after the project is complete to enjoy a nice dinner in celebration of your newly remodeled space instead of an invitation to fix items that were not handled properly. We employ 10 well trained and skilled individuals along with our Qualified Trade Partners for some of the work that we do. I'm getting ready to start conversations about the next project : )
This was an easy project, requiring no digging nor permit from the city. Demolition took approximately 4hours, and framing commenced the same day. Walls were 6" deep, which meant more insulation and wide windowsills. Four windows and two sliders were installed, & finish molding applied. The ceiling was simply re-painted after some scraping. We had them paint for us, which took no time. The exterior was vinyl sided, and the existing outdoor electrical was brought up to code.
The entire project took 2 weeks. We always knew when JEMM was coming and what they were doing. We spent more than we wanted but the cost of new construction is not cheap, and we knew JEMM's work would be stellar.
Clean up was neat. Personable workers.
All remodels will have issues but with Jemm construction they went out of there way to resolve any issues. Most of my issues were minor (adding small piece of wood trim to make the space flow better). A larger issue was the paint transition. My house has an open concept and the painter continued where the paint needed to continue the upstairs. At no additional cost, Jemm Construction gave me a choice of them painting this area white (the existing color) or continue with the new color. I have used other contractors in the past and they would have left it as is or charged to paint the additional area. After the cabinets were installed the lighting was close to the cabinets. Without my asking they moved the lighting. They do a job as though it is their own house.
I will use Jemm again and highly recommend them for a remodel job.
