This is a continue from my previous post. Normally he was responsive, but he had another job he was working on that was taking more of his time. He didn't finish the kitchen. I tried calling several times and he would call back when he felt like it. He finally finished the ceiling and mounted the cabinets on the wall. He didn't finish the plumbing and connecting all of the appliances. He finally called back and said he was going to finish on a specific day and never showed up...didn't even call saying he wasn't coming. He called back a couple days later and said he was ready to finish. I told him don't bother because I found someone else to finish the job. He got pissed and hung up on me. Thank goodness I didn't pay him the remaining balance. Hiring another contractor was the best decision I made. I will never use J & J Remodeling again!!

Everything went fine. I do think he's overbooked himself because lately he's been hard to get a hold of. He does a good job though.
