About us

I am a self-employed pet sitter who will care for your pet if you are going out of town for a weekend or extended vacation. I also offer to let your dog out mid-day for a walk on a daily basis. I have taken care of dogs, cats, hamsters, ducks, parrots, and bunnies.

With Happy Pause your animal will stay in a secure, familiar environment while you are away. I will follow your pet's customary routine and diet. Pets will receive kind, caring, individual attention from a competent, dependable, mature person. They will get the loving attention they need. Dogs can also be boarded in my home if requested.

We have been using Louann now for about 3 years.  She is wonderful with all of our animals.  We have her stop in 3x's per day to let our border collie out and to play with him and our two cats.  Apollo, our dog, just loves her.  Her rates are no more expensive that boarding all three animals at our vet and the animals are much more relaxed to stay in their own home.  We will be using Louann again in March 2014.  We have recommended her to our friends who are now using her services.  She will play with our dog and cats, clean the litter boxes, bring in the mail, open and close the blinds and more.  I highly recommend her services to any pet owner who must find care for pets when they are away on vacation or whatnot.

Louann is a wonderful, caring person who is loved by our cats! We trust her with our lovable cats and our entire household, because she provides us with a sense of comfort when we're away from home. We know that things are fine -- from watered plants and mail to litter boxes and and cat food. She is a very fine person!

Do Trust Louann, She came 3X a day, besides the normal pet care she cleans up their yard waste, leaves TV on for company, plays with them. Do meet her. Don't worry. She loves all pets and has several of her own.
