The crew showed up early on the first day and finished the next day. All of the work is outstanding. The bid for the job was 1,000 less than closest competitor.

Jeff''s son came out to have a look and gave us an estimate to tear out and replace the 11 x 11 section. The guys doing the work were prompt and did a neat job. I know concrete is almost impossible to match, but the old concrete is brownish and the new installed pad is gray. We had a section added to our driveway about 4 years ago and it blends in great, so I thought this would be the same. Then it rained a few weeks after and the puddle appeared to be small but still present. I called Jeff and he came out and placing the level in the pad noted that it was all level. ( not sure if it was level to the adjacent pads, since I was not home when he did this). He told me the water should not build up and that all was level. Now the "puddle" has gotten even bigger. It used to be in one quadrant of the section, now it extends across the entire pad, and is worse. i called Jeff to ask him how this could be and he said they just put it in line with the other sections. I relayed that if I knew it was something that couldn't be repaired I would not have spent the money to begin with. I asked him if he could come out and take another look and he said if he was in the area , otherwise he would charge me a service call. fee. The new pad was less than six months old and is worse than the one that was torn out. My mother lives with us and once again I have to worry about the even bigger sheet of ice that will appear this winter. I am totally dissatisfied with this contractor and feel that his customer service is unacceptable.

"The member hired our company to tear out and replace a section of her driveway that was broken and sunken. We did exactly what she paid us to do, but since the section was in the middle of other sections, the new pour can only be at the same elevation as the surrounding concrete. Her complaint is that the new concrete is a different color than her old concrete (which is several years old) and that the new section still has some water that occasionally stands on it. I have personally inspected the job and the new concrete section is poured perfectly flush with the surrounding driveway. You cannot pour one section of a driveway higher than the surrounding sections just to get water off of that one section. All you’re going to do is cause a trip hazard and force that water over to adjoining section where you would have the exact same issue. As for the color difference, it’s simply common sense that new concrete is not going to match old concrete."

I used DCD 4 years ago to pour a patio and extend my concrete parking pad. I needed more work this summer, so I called them in mid July. I told Jeff I had a party coming up and needed more concrete work done. He came out right away, gave me a quote by the next day and scheduled the work for later that week. He had a whole team of guys there and they were all very professional, efficient and knew exactly what they were doing. They got right to work and eveything was finished that day and looks great. I never worried about foul language or inappropriate behavior when my kids came out to watch the guys work. Jeff was on-site the whole day and went out of his way to make sure I was happy with the work. The site was cleaned up and everything looks great. I was very happy with the work and will definitely use them again.
