 + -1 moreMan came over and wrote down all the information. He was very nice. A month went by and I didn't hear back from him on the estimate. So I went to my backup plan. Come to find out that he misplaced the information and that us why there was a delay in receiving the estimate. I would have saved around one thousand dollars and probably had better floors if they would have done the job. I could not wait any longer and hired a diffenerent company. Very disappointed that I was unable to hire heritage floors to do the work.

 + -1 moreOnce we got a hold of them (which can be difficult...they're busy, for good reason! They're the best!) we got them out here for an estimate. Seemed very reasonable. Work was EXCELLENT. Couldn't be happier with the turnout! Worth every penny.

 + -1 moreThe floors are BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL! My husband and I feel it is the best investment we have made in our home. We have increased the value of our home immensely, and visitors are in total shock that the wood floors we have now were hiding under that old raggedy carpet the whole time! Someday when we are ready to refinish the pine floors upstairs, we will be certain to call Heritage Floors to get the job done right!
Description of Work: My husband and I purchased an old farm home that is 100+ years old. As we were ripping out old carpet, we found beautiful hardwood oak floors underneath, however, they were in dire need of repair and refinishing. Mark and the crew from Heritage Floors in Ottawa provided us with a free estimate, and although they were initially pretty solidly booked, they made time for our project. Within a week, they had repaired, sanded, stained and varathaned the floors.
