I contacted another local kennel, also recommended by a friend. I got an immediate answer and we will use this kennel. I plan to review the experience for the used kennel when we get back.

We used red barn bed and biscuit several times over the last 2 years. They were never prompt in returning our calls but would eventually get back to us after several attempts. We always tried to make plans well in advance so this was never a real problem because we loved it there and so did our dog. In May of this year we tried multiple times to get in touch with them because we were moving and needed a place for our dog. We tried for over a month but with no response we had to make other arrangements. I guess I am just hoping that nothing has gone wrong beyond their control and are unable to provide their services. If they are out of business they need to take their website down

Wendy is always very professional and friendly. She goes beyond what you would expect in a kennel. Ecco enjoys his daily runs! Red Barn Bed and Biscuit is always clean and orderly. The setting for the kennel is beautiful with lots of room for the dogs to take those runs. I would highly recommend this kennel to anyone!

Our experience here has consistently been fantastic. The kennel is very clean and smells clean. Wendy has always been more than accomodating for early or late pickups/dropoffs when she can accommodate it. Her husband takes the dogs for a run each day, which my dog loves. I like that the kennels have room inside, but each one has a doggy door to an outside run as well. Gives them more freedom. There is an above-ground cot that each dog has inside their kennel so they aren't sleeping on the ground, and you can bring whatever blankets, pillows, etc. from home that your dog is used to. Wendy has previous experience in a veterinary office which was helpful when our dog stayed with her while on medication, because she had no problem getting him to take the drops and the medicine. They genuinely love the pets they keep, and you feel very comfortable leaving your family pet with them. Very professional but down to earth. Prices are fair.

This is the best kennel we have found. Wendy Manning is awesome, a real dog lover and give one-on-one attention to your dog. They get mile-long walks twice a day and have outdoor runs in a quiet country setting. The facility is well-lit and air conditioned and heated.

IT WAS THE BEST

The BEST experience ever! Ted and Wendy (owners) have a real passion for animals! The property is beautiful and the facility is clean/modern. Our dog, Sadie, was treated like family. She was given daily walks/runs and had her own dog run attached to her kennel. We can't wait to go back!! Great price for the service and attention we received. Wendy gave me some great feeding tips and even helped me try to clip Sadie's nails (I'm a novice!). Overall, a great find tucked away in the country. I will never consider another kennel for my dog!! Call this place....you won't be sorry!!!

LOVE it, HIGHLY recommend, I will not send my dogs anywhere else! Wendy even had toys for the dogs and Kong stuff, to put in our dog's Kong toy. Very loving, safe environment. Wendy is very warm and will actually return your phone calls. Gave a detailed report of my dogs' behavior when I returned from vacation. My dogs fell in love with her.
