MARTIN CONCRETE CONSTRUCTION

It was terrible. I think their price was average. His father came out and tried to intimidate me and told me to get over and pretend that our driveway was falling and cracking within one year. They could have responded to me quicker. They could have replaced our driveway when it was falling instead of blaming it on the weather. When they did replace a cracked part, they replaced it with interior cement. It was not the same cement that they used on our driveway and when they sealed it, we can see it when it rains that they just kind of like went back and forth and didn't do the whole driveway.

This is the third time I've worked with Martin Concrete and each experience has been outstanding.   Alan is pleasant and honest, very easy to talk to and work with.   This was the smallest job he's done for us (previously was a patio/ basketball court, and driveway/sidewalk).  They set up the date and time....arrived promptly and started working immediately.   The atrium had stone from a garden and they moved it to another bed in the yard.  They worked fast and never bothered us at all.  The quality of work is great.   The work on the atrium is perfect....not a bubble or wavy line...perfectly level with the older concrete surrounding it.  And they left the place spotless....not even a stray piece of gravel or dirt.    I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Martin performed the work competently and we have received favorable comments about it from neighbors. However, the concrete began developing cracks in the cuts almost immediately, and when I told the owner about the issue and asked him to come out and take a look he blew me off. Less than two years later, a 1/4-inch gap developed in the entire length of one of the cuts. Once again I asked the owner to take a look and once again he chose not to. I subsequently paid another contractor over $500 to repair the problems that Martin refused to address.
