The work was not complete by the time we left the country. My nephew was available to oversee the complettion. The electrician came back and suppossedly completed the job. However, there are outlets that don't work, a smoke detector not installled, just bare wires, and the lights in the garage were never put up.
The contract stated that the building would be up to code and inspected. We callled the owner Jamie in December to ask what the status was. He said he just needed to get an inspector to the house. We said the job did not seem to be done. He said he would get back to us. We have heard nothing for 10 months.
Since we still owe him money, I would think he would want to get the job complete. We are now in the delima of whether we should just hire someone else to come finish the work, or wait on him to do the job.
