Description of Work: We called them based on some impressive pictures we saw of their work at a local home show. They quoted Angie's List in their brochure -- we later checked them out online at Angie's List and called them. We wanted them to come out and talk to us about adding a porch to our home. We had a pretty lengthy discussion, with the guy who said he was now in charge of the company. We talked about lots of options for roofing, decking, windows, steps, etc. He was familiar with working in our town and knew some about the city codes on porches. He was to give us an estimate for several different options we discussed. He even went as far as saying that he would drive around our neighborhood and look for other examples of porches for the setback limits. He said he'd even call the city about it. He was supposed to mail us or drop off the different estimates for the work. Bottom line, we never heard from him again. After two weeks went by, we started getting other estimates.

+ 5 moreI have become very jaded over the years when it comes to dealing with suppliers and their promises. I've worked with Iso and Six Sigma certified suppliers as well as a host of international suppliers, making demands for quality and dedication. My supplier praises are generally few and most definitely "earned" when given. This was truly a most pleasurable experience! They have mastered the skill of project scheduling. I have worked in the manufacturing field for 35 years and have never been as impressed with the dedication, willingness to achieve and/or exceed goals, pride in workmanship, overall cooperation with a customer. We made great friends that we hope to keep for a lifetime. Keep up the exemplary work.
Description of Work: A 20 X 20 room addition over garage; whole house "new" heating systems and air conditioning. Tear out/replace garage floor. New windows. Roofing on existing and new addition. Gutters and electrical.

+ -1 moreTHERE WERE CERTAIN ASPECT THAT WERE VERY GOOD AND CERTAIN ASPECTS THAT WERE NOT SO GOOD, THOUGH IT IS WORTH ANY AGGRAVATION THAT OCCURRED. THEY MADE A SINCERE EFFORT FOR ANY CORRECTIONS THAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. THEY TRY THEIR HARDEST TO PLEASE YOU. THEY WERE A LITTLE HIGH ON PRICE, BUT YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. THEY QUALITY OF THE WORKMANSHIP IS EXCELLENT AND IF YOU WANT A JOB DONE RIGHT THIS IS THE COMPANY TO CALL.

+ -1 moreWE CHOSE THE CONSTRUCTION TEAM TO DO THIS WORK BECAUSE AMONG SEVERAL COMPANIES THAT WE SPOKE WITH, THEY WERE THE MOST RESPONSIVE AND PROFESSIONAL DURING THE PROPOSAL PROCESS. THEY OBSERVED OUR BUDGET CONSTRAINTS AND HAVE DEMONSTRATED HIGH QUALITY STANDARDS, GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND OVERALL CLEANLINESS DURING THE JOB. CHANGE ORDERS HAVE BEEN ONLY FOR ITEMS THAT WERE TRULY NOT POSSIBLE TO ANTICIPATE. THEY ARE A BIT MORE EXPENSIVE THAN OTHERS, BUT THE QUALITY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE ARE WORTH THE COST IF YOU ARE TOO BUSY TO OVERSEE EVERY DETAIL YOURSELF. THEY ARE ALSO PLEASANT TO WORK WITH AND CLEARLY ENJOY WORKING WITH EACH OTHER.
