Spectacular! They were the first to contact me from an Angie's List request and walked the property with me to understand the mowing requirements. The area was surrounded by property owned by other homeowners. They provided a quick and reasonable estimate, are super easy to work with, communicate with me related to weather conditions. This was a mid-season request for service and they fit us into their schedule and have done a beautiful job of turning a scruffy looking field that tends to be wet into a beautiful, green lawn. Highly recommend them!

They dug out the iron stakes, removed the debris and rocks, and brought in more than enough top soil.After seeding, the new grass sprouted up on day # 5 and was 4" tall by day # 11. The new areas were almost filled in by day # 16. The price was reasonable and they didn't use heavy equipment that might harm the rest of the yard.

Very good, timely, and follow up in a quick fashion. They made adjust immediately. Very happy.

I've used Dave for landscaping for over a decade. They are reliable, punctual, trustworthy and very professional. They have mowed weekly and done fall / spring cleanups. This past season I had many projects and Dave worked with me to prioritize them. He weeded all my beds and put down a top-notch mulch. He also cut trees down, trimmed trees, tore weeds out of trees. The property is looking great due to his work. He is a great value. Highly recommend!

Dave and his team are great! I met with Dave at the house and he had me do a thorough tour of the property all while letting me know how he would care for the lawn and beds as we went around. I was impressed with his knowledge and the way he genuinely took pride in his business and the quality of work I should expect. Knight Landscaping did not disappoint--they were reliable, efficient for weekly lawn care and good communicators about other small projects. The quality f work was as promised. I also appreciated knowing the full contract price in advance and having a consistent monthly bill over the spring/summer/early fall months. Dave and Knight Landscaping did a great job last summer and I did not hesitate to rehire them this year.

I have worked with Dave and Nick for a few years now on my 2 acre yard. It has been a positive experience. Dave does a 8 month contract for the total costs of the work you want and splits it into 8 monthly payments. If something needs done incurring extra cost after initial contract just add it on to monthly payment. At the beginning of the season Dave will touch base to discuss plans for landscaping. If he feels there needs to be something done as he assesses the yard he will bring it to your attention. Also through the season he will keep you informed if he comes across any other concerns. He is easy to deal with. Needs a little prompting on the weed control i.e. pulling them out and spraying them versus just spraying.. If there is anything you are not satisfied with he will fix it. He is reliable usually comes the same day every week unless the weather is atrocious and will try to get to you later in the week. Applies any treatments in the recommended weather conditions going out of his way and coming extra to do so. He trims my bushes regularly and does a nice job. My yard looks great and Dave will often suggest ideas to make it even better but doesn't get overbearing about it. Will usually call you if there are delays on anything or if he is trying to fit something in or when the mulch is going to be delivered. You can hire Dave with confidence and his prices are reasonable. Currently I have moved out of state and Dave is managing my yard while my house is on the market. I pay $600 a month approximately which includes weekly lawn care, weeding, bush control and clean up.

I have found Mr. Fredricks and his company to provide excellent service over all. They are courteous, professional and reliable. My lawn and surrounding property always look good. I would highly recommend this company.

It was a rainy day and an initial cut of a thick lawn.  The cut and edging of the front lawn was satisfactory, but I was disappointed that a light amount of leaves were left behind, mostly in the backyard.  I thought that the lawn mower would be used in a fashion that would pick them.  Mr. Fredericks explained that entails asking for a clean up service to be performed, which I had not requested.  He was very professional in addressing my concerns and agreed to return an appropriate portion of the first month's payment (April 2016).    

David and his crew did a great job with both tasks. When they didn't finish the weeding in one day, they came back the next day to wrap up the job. The beds looked great after their work. We weren't living in the house at the time, and anytime I drove by, the lawn was cut and the property was cleaned up. Dave was very responsive if I had to text him any special requests.

Knight Landscaping has been doing my regular lawn maintenance for three years now and has been consistently great.

Very good! showed up every other week as scheduled and thoroughly completed all the work that was agreed upon.

I am very pleased with the service from Knight Landscaping.   The pricing is very fair, and the company is professional, prompt and responsive.  Dave always returns my calls within a day and follows through on work as promised.  He will even send me pictures of the property before and after.  I will be signing a seasonal contract with him next spring as it is great to find someone that is trustworthy at a great price.

1) My main complaint is that weeds were not dug up to be removed, only cut down very low and then applied with roundup (supposedly) and covered with mulch. Grass is starting to return through the mulch  2 weeks later and owner has not called back after 4 calls were placed to him during the past week.
2) Bricks used to create edge around flower beds were initially put in upside down. I had to instruct him how they should be placed.
3) I volunteered to make 2 runs to Lowe's to pick up additional bricks when number of bricks required for job was underestimated.
4) After agreeing to the initial estimate, he upped the price by $100. I probably should have cancelled the job at that point in retrospect. I wonder if this is a normal tactic?

This provider was prompt both at the time he gave an estimate and when the work was scheduled. He was quite thorough and detailed and followed through in all that was discussed prior to the work. He was also very easy to communicate with and very courteous.

Dave, the owner, and his assistant, Chris, did a remarkable job.  They are a detail-oriented and professional team.  It was a pleasure to work with them.  Dave ensures the job is completed and is happy to share landscaping/gardening tips that have proven very helpful to me.  
Additionally, I appreciate Dave's conscientiousness.  He took extra care as to avoid creating unsightly ruts with his heavy, wheeled equipment in the still soggy grass and soil.  And, it's clear from our discussions, Dave gives careful consideration as to use of the proper equipment based upon specific task and/or terrain requirements. 
I feel confident they will do a good job caring for my yard; to the degree that I've hired this company to do my regular yard work this year.  I'm so glad I discovered this contractor on Angies List.

I called them last year and this year to schedule for my yard. They promptly responded with a date and time that was agreeable to me. They arrived on time, and worked through to the end of the job.

Two workers from the company (the owner and another worker) arrived in the evening after 5p. With it being so late in the day--and with extensive work to be done as both yards were a total mess--I was worried that they would rush through their work. I needn't have worried, however, as they worked diligently through both yards, taking great care with even the sloppiest parts of the landscaped backyard. The team was professional and courteous, and both yards look wonderful! After finishing, the owner even took my wife through the yards to show her what they did and to tell her about what they could do in future.

We're so impressed with their work and professionalism that we've hired them to do bi-weekly maintenance for the rest of the year. Highly recommend!

When we had decided to hire a landscaper, we called Knights Landscaping based on his Angie's List reports. He came by promptly to give us an estimate. His pricing was very reasonable & he seemed to care about the business. Of the four landscapers we called, he was the only one that seemed to care whether or not we hired him.  That means a lot.  

He comes every week, on the day we prefer. He is quick & thorough. My husband had originally wanted to use a landscaper for a few months until he could get back out and do the lawn himself. But, since David has been coming & doing such a good job, my husband is content to find other projects! And, Knights landscaping has officially gotten our long-term business.
