This business is owned by brothers Bill and Steve Miller. My 85 year old mother recently had a very bad experience with the business with regards to 8 Arborvitae trees that she purchased in the fall of last year. After the purchase, the trees were delivered by Steve Miller, who explained in detail exactly how to plant and care for the trees. I planted the trees exactly as Steve instructed, including spacing, depth, etc... In June of this year, I noticed 5 of the 8 trees were beginning to turn brown. I called the company and spoke with Steve who said that the trees had probably not gotten enough water. I explained to Steve that I had in fact watered the trees myself exactly as he said I should. I also pointed out that 3 of the 8 trees were doing well...... thriving as a matter of fact. I asked Steve if he could explain this and he replied that he could not. I explained that since the trees were all planted in the same general area, and were watered exactly the same, that his explanation that they had not gotten enough water was not plausible. I also pointed out that the trees were given a 1 year guarantee and that it was my considered opinion that the company should honor that guarantee. He refused to honor the guarantee. I called the next day and spoke with Bill Miller who repeated verbatim the things his brother had told me. My mother, who lives on a small fixed income paid over $1,000.00 for the trees. She has to take the loss as a result of this shady business practice. A cursory investigation into Miller Landscaping and Gardens turned up several more customers who have had the same, exact problem with them. My considered opinion is to look elsewhere for your landscaping and gardening needs.

They did such a good job last year, we don't need them this year. They were personable and reliable. They were very prompt, they came when they said they would.
