Excellent , - respectable, not a question

Summit Landscape was fantastic! Our home looked beautiful; they exceeded my expectations.

It went very well. The large bushes roots, were starting to grow under the sidewalk, and they were removed by hand. This was not a easy job. But it was completed in one day. The crew answered all of by questions, listened to me babble on and were so kind, as was Dave.

Always provides the services at the negotiated price.  Reliable and professional.

This is my first time using a landscaper and I couldn't be happier. Summit landscape truly transformed my yard from an overgrown foreclosed mess of four years to the show place of the neighborhood I've already had sevenof my neighbors come by and tell me how beautiful it turned out. I had several landscapers come in with their designs and most of them looked like an office building. But Susie listens to everything I said and made it come true! I didn't want a lot of shrubs I wanted blooming all year round with easy maintenance and hybrid vigor, easier said than done. But that's exactly what they did. I have a dozen different varieties of plants around my yard all of them blooming for different period with different colors that all fit together perfectly. They came in the morning and workd all day nonstop. I came out multiple times to check on their work. I found them very meticulous at removing all the weeds and miscellaneous growth throughout my yard to prepare the bed for the new plants. Even the day of the planting Susie saw another plant at the nursery when she was picking things up. She knew my wife liked pink hydrangeas, she called and asked for her permission to make the change and boom it was done. All they want to do is please the customer. And they succeeded! When they were done they cleaned up throughly, and checked in to make sure everything was done the way I wanted it. They have checked in with me a couple of times to make sure everything is OK and I'm guaranteed everything for 1 year. The pricing was fair and they delivered on everything they promised and more. I have already spoken to them about coming back in the spring and doing some hardscaping to create patio in my backyard. I really can't believe how lucky I was to find this company!

See above, did not go well..

Summit Lanscape makes our yard look fantastic week after week. The beds have been edged and mulched. Bushes and trees are always kept neat. The grass looks excellent. The team provides all of our lawn care needs. They are very attentive to our needs as well. Great service.

I spoke with Dave over the course of several weeks about doing landscaping, cleanup and stump removal. The original quote was in February to conduct the work when the weather broke in the spring. Dave initially failed to include a quote for stump removal and I had to pay an additional $125 for the sub contracted portion of the job. Dave acknowledged that he had not included the $125 in the original quote and was very contrite and adamant about not being flexible on the pricing of the original quote. I paid the subcontractor without arguing.

I understand the delay in not completing the work quickly because of the unusually wet spring but over the course of the spring Dave was exceptionally poor in communicating when his crews would be out to do the work. Responsiveness and punctuality were severely lacking throughout my dealings with this company. In one conversation, I stated that I would get another landscaping company to do the work because after i had been promised completion of the work, the Summit workers failed to show up. Only after I threatened to give a poor rating on Angie's List did Dave agree to come out and finish the work. After this conversation, the workers showed up promptly and finally finished most of the work. i paid him promptly for the portion of the work that was completed.

Summit Landscaping never did show up to complete the mulching that i had requested, so I had to get another company to complete this work. I was very reasonable throughout my dealings with this company and was treated as if I was doing them a favor by using them. I will not use Summit Landscaping again and will recommend that friends and family avoid this company as well.

Great. They mow, trim and edge my lawn. I get great service from Summit.

They provide services all year long on a month to month basis. They are very professional and reliable. They are fairly priced. They do really good work. I think they go above and beyond what you expect to be done. They have great service as far as giving back to the customer. At Thanksgiving time they drop off pumpkins and thank you notes for using them as a provider. They do a good job for making the customer feel very important.

Signed proposal on 4/4/09 and gave deposit. Assured the project would be done on time. The 1st treatment of weed killer done on 5/12. Was to have 2 treatments to kill all the diseased grass . As of 5/25 we had only one treatment. I called for the 2nd treatment, they said I didn’t need it. I insist it be done to kill the weeds. The 2nd treatment done the 1st wk in June. Weather was great but nothing was getting done. We told them if they didn’t start working we would cancel the project and wanted a refund. They started on 6/8, installed the plants and scraped old grass into piles. Paid half the cost. It rained and because of the mud they could not work. They said working would cause a lot of damage to the yard. Said they would be back when the yard had dried. Next 2 days it was nice, no one came. That night it rained at our house. On 6/11 they showed up to work. Without looking at the conditions they brought equipment into the yard. We told them to leave and not cause more damage. On 6/16 they showed up to finish the project. My husband checked the work being done. It looked like it would be completed correctly. I got home and noticed problems. The path did not have enough stepping stones, the ruts from the equipment where not filled enough, the blend from old grass to new yard had a drop-off lip over most of the length, 2 plants had to be replaced, and the boarder was crooked and choppy. On 6/18 we were able to speak to the owner (Dave). He got angry and said the job was done correctly, without seeing it. He said he was a professional and that he had done the work himself. He wanted a check sent. I said I would pay in full when the job was done. He got angry and wanted to come out at 9:00pm. We said no and met on 6/22 at 6:00pm. It took him and 2 guys 2 hours to finish. While working he said to me “always remember karma”. I did not know what he meant, but I did feel threatened. When finished, I wanted to pay with MC, (contract stated MC accepted). He would not accept the MC, insisting he wanted a check. After long argument I wrote a check. He left without a thank you or apologize for the inconvenience again saying “remember there’s always karma” Two days later I called Suzy and said I need the balance on my MC. She said I needed to talk to Dave. He still wanted a check. I told him I got legal advice that I was within my rights to pay with MC. He hung up. Later he called saying he would accept the MC, but payment had to be made at his office. On 6/26 we drove to his office to pay. He than gave us 2 pieces of stone that he said was a gester of good will. We used it to correct and finish the path that they should have done correct the first time.It would be almost impossible to tell everything that went on and the amount of stress and aggravation that resulted in the more than 2 months we had to work with this landscaper. I would never recommend Summit Landscaping to anyone. Dave refuses to listen and work with you. He only seems to antagonize and argue.

They are very professional, very reliable, personable, and friendly. They were always a step ahead of me. I have no complaints about the work they do and I would highly recommend them.

They were excellent. The mowing crew is attentive and friendly. The crew that did the stone work was very professional and responsive. We needed to have some warranty work done and they were prompt in responding.
