The company was very pleasant and professional. I spoke with Gina and she scheduled the repair with Zach. Zach came out same day for the springs so that I could get my car out of the garage. They were punctual, friendly, and fair. Zach special ordered the exterior seal to match the garage doors and he returned to replace that too. They are honest and easy to work with.

They went our of their way to replace a 19 year old opener motor on warranty for free. We needed a new motor and were willing to buy a new one, Zack asked if we had the bill of sale since it had a lifetime warranty. We had it., They got with the company, brought in the motor which they normally don't carry and replaced it for a small labor charge. Terrific customer service!

Called Davis Door and scheduled for the next day ( would have preferred they came immediately), but I guess they were scheduled for the day. Neil came as scheduled the following day. Knew what the problem was and fixed it in 20 minutes. He took the time to explain the problem was. Neil was very professional, friendly and courteous.

Professional scheduling and showed up on time. Flat repair service fee known up-front, and reasonable (covers common repairs) - I compared prices from several places and these were best. Able to complete repair first time, saving me from buying a new opener. Recommended.

This morning I couldn't open my garage door and called them and within two hours they were here. He came and fixed my door and it only took about an hour. I can't believe how fast it was fixed. He knew exactly what the issue was. He was very competent.

They can installed the new garage door opener.  When they finished they showed me how to use it.  They also replaced my exterior keypad garage opener for no additional cost.

Closing my garage door last week, the door stopped dead 3/4 down. With an old garage door opener double humming then quitting, without doing anything more, I wasn't sure if I needed repair or replacement. Davis Door is a highly recommended company on Angies List locally so I called them around 4pm on Thursday.  Davis arrived the following afternoon and attempted to move the motor to no avail. The motor on my ten year old unit had apparently  seized. I thought that an honest attempt was made to repair the old opener. The tech, Neil was very professional and told me that had he had a unit in his van, he would install it right then, however, he had already installed two of the same units earlier that day, so he was out of stock. We agreed on a time after the weekend and he was prompt and had the old unit out and the new unit installed in under 45 minutes. After explaining all the options with this new high-tech opener, I paid the the previously agreed price. Good work, no surprises, I'm happy and would recommend Davis Door to anyone.

Davis had a technician available to come out the same day that I called. He confirmed his arrival 30 minutes before coming out. After looking over our door, he spoke with our home warrenty provider to explain the job. He completed the repairs quickly! Great project!

Workers were on time (actually a little early), got the job done, cleaned up and left. Door so far is working well and we are very pleased with the work done.

The garage door was installed in one day and the opener was installed in less than an hour.  The workman came on time both days and worked diligently to complete the work.  This was an excellent experience for me.  I love having the garage door opener.  It makes it so easy to open the door and drive into the garage.  Joe gave explicit instructions on using the door opener and was very patient with me (I am older and my memory isn't the greatest).  I would recommend this company to anyone who needs garage doors.  Good workmanship, polite and patient.

We had a broken spring on our garage door and called Davis Door Company. I did call other companies, but when I called Davis Door the lady who answered the phone was very courteous and cared about what needed to be done.  She spent time on the telephone with me.   She  could probably get someone out the same day. I told her we could wait until the next day. I asked her the price and method of payment.  She informed me of the price and we could pay by credit card and to call her after the garage door is repaired. I was amazed that they have this convenience. She said the door would be repaired between 12:00pm  and 4:00pm. I asked that the person call before he arrives. Joe called me ahead of time and was at our house within 15 minutes.
 He explained what he was going to do and answered any questions that I had. I was very curious how long springs last and if our garage door opener was in good working order. I also asked him about replacing the key pads on the doors. He said wait until the door openers are no longer working so you aren't paying extra money. The openers are nine years old so we should still have some years left on them. I appreciated him being honest with me.  He said the job would take about a half hour to complete. It actually took him less time and he serviced our garages doors so we are ready for the winter months. Joe was very professional and I could tell he enjoys working for this company.  After he left, I called and spoke to Renee and she took my payment over the telephone. I explained to her Joe did a fantastic job and it is nice working with a family owned business that doesn't treat you like a number. I would definitely call Davis Door in the future.

Outstanding experience.  Office staff was courteous and responsive from initial call through payment after job was done.  They even sent a THANK YOU card with a handwritten signature which I received in the mail the day after payment was made (I paid over the phone).  My first call was made mid-day on a Monday to schedule appt. for estimate.  Tim Davis came the very next day and was even there a few minutes early, already having measurements done and the estimate mostly written up by the time I pulled in the driveway from work.  He was pleasant and professional, showed me literature with various model and color options, then called the company to see if the door I wanted was in stock or would need to be shipped.  He gave me a realistic delivery date of about a week for the door I wanted because it was not in stock, explaining the installation would be scheduled for the beginning of the week after they received the door.  I was pleased to get a call from  Renee in their office to schedule installation a week earlier than I had hoped.  It only took ten calendar days from the time I made the first call, until the door was received and installed.  The installers were also prompt, professional, and extremely efficient.  They even lubricated my existing garage door opener so it would run more smoothly and operate a little quieter. They left the area so neat and clean you would never have known any work was done.  I could not give a higher recommendation.

From on-site quote to scheduling to installation excellent.  House was being put up for sale and they met a short deadline for installation which other vendors wouldn't meet.  Will definitely use them again!

Tim arrived right on time, maybe even a few minutes early.  He quickly got to work and added 3/4 of a turn to the torsion spring.  I also asked him to inspect the rest of the door / mechanism to make sure everything was working as it should.  He adjusted the side brackets and one of the tracks a little and lubed the spring and pulleys.  He was very polite and professional, answering all my questions (I had a lot of them), making recommendations on maintaining the door and mechanism, typical life of a torsion spring, where to get parts if I needed them, and what items are prone to failure with the setup I have.  After all that, he asked if I had any more questions before leaving.  This job was something that I probably could've done myself, but I wanted a competent professional to take a look at the door to put my mind at ease.  I got exactly what I needed from Davis Door - I will definitely use them again and will recommend them to anyone.  Thanks !!

One afternoon as my garage door was closing, I heard a loud bang. After that, the door would stop about a foot up. If I lent it a hand while it raising, it would go raise all the way, but otherwise not. I called on a Sunday afternoon and I received a call back by 8:30 the next morning. I was told the technician would be around be tween 9 and noon, but that he could give me a call when he was about 20 minutes out. I got the call about 10:05 that he would be there so I left about 10:10. He arrived about 10:20 and started working. He was done by 10:55 and I was back at work by 11:15. Very fast, very good, and now my door works perfectly. He even oiled up the wheels and hinges for me.

The torsion spring on the garage door broke during the night after 10 years.  After looking online about how to fix it, we realized that we didn't want to try to do it ourselves.  We called Davis in the morning and they had an opening that morning/afternoon.  Decided on them based on price (lowest quote over the phone) and Angie's List reviews.  The technician arrived during the 2-hour time period they promised.  Neil was very courteous and cleaned up after himself.  It was cold out in the garage (below freezing) but he didn't complain.  He answered my questions, was very knowledgeable and showed me a few things to watch out for. Took him about an hour and when he was done the garage door worked great.  He also lubricated things and re-bolted in a support (above and beyond!!)  Hopefully the spring will last another 10 years.  If anything else goes wrong, we'll be calling Davis again.
